“We just wanted to give a big thank-you to the team at our local Food Lion. Everyone there has been incredibly kind and welcoming to our family. Whether we stop in during the morning, lunch, or evening, the staff is always friendly and helpful.
I’ve even brought my dog in for a couple very quick training visits (about 5 minutes each time), and the team has been nothing but understanding and supportive. It really means a lot to feel comfortable and welcomed in our neighborhood store.
We’re truly thankful to have such an amazing crew serving our community!

“This was my first visit. I was amazed by the prices: considerably lower than I expected. I have not tried any of my purchases yet, so I can not attest to the quality, but if the appearance is any indication, I am expecting to be pleased.
I was unaware that bagging of purchases is not offered; in fact, if you want to use bags, you may purchase some.

“I ordered fresh flowers in the bulk for my wedding. There was a little mix up in the order but I was able to get a hold of floral team member named Evaline. She was on top of everything and so helpful with my order! She was very quick to respond to emails and very accommodating. The flowers arrived a few days before the event. The boxes come with directions and care for the flowers. We took them all out and trimmed them, let them hydrate, and then the very next day they all were open and just stunning! I recommend getting your flowers in 2 days before an event, that way they have time to hydrate and bloom. I ordered about 80 garden roses, a whole bunch of greenery, and a gorgeous greenery garland. So impressed with the condition and beauty of these flowers. We spent way less in comparison to a florist. I highly recommend this place!”
“This the hood Food Lion. Best damn Food Lion in town. Customer service is excellent. The produce is good to my knowledge. Never had any issues with that. Never seen any expired snacks of the snack I like. These people here do a fantastic job compared to other Food Lion stores. They deserve an excellence award. Might not get because of the area. They deserve it. I've issues in other Food Lions around Lynchburg.”

“A good, solid Food Lion. The staff and cashiers are friendly and helpful. The only reason for the 4-star vs a 5-stae rating is that it is a smaller Food Lion and therefore has a more limited offering.”
“I stopped in for some fried catfish fish, it was good. Cooked to order. I forgot to request it fried hard, lol but it was still good. The other food in the warmers looked good. Great service. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu.”
“When I tell you this is THE best place to get fresh fried chicken, I mean it! I started back eating chicken since I’m pregnant again (been vegetarian for 3-4 years now) and I thought of this place because my dad used to always get chicken catered by them. So I came back to try their food out as an adult and nothing has changed. I won’t go anywhere else BUT here to get my chicken.”

“Nothing but love here to be a convenience store. Cashier's and deli People are good. The stocking/ freezer attendant is the best in the history of man. He also knows where everything in the store is instantly, and will go and gladly lead you to it or retrieve it for you.”

“Great little convenience store with a great selection of country menu options including fried chicken, breaded potato wedges, macaroni and cheese and more! They also have gas pumps and a packed store selection! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the food was hot and delicious! We personally stop for the "tater wedges" ?❤?. Laid back hometown feel with picnic table seating outside for dinner and conversation with a cold bottle of soda. Nostalgia!”
