Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store is a two-level thrift store supporting a nonprofit mission. The top level includes women's clothing, shoes, home goods, electronics, music, and books. The bottom level, accessible by stairs, has men's clothes and shoes, wall art, rugs, pillows, exercise equipment, and storage containers. The store is noted for a very fast turnover of items and is a great destination for women’s clothing, especially business attire, casual wear, and good outerwear. It is also highlighted as the place for sporting equipment, particularly kids’ ski stuff and lacrosse gear. Shoppers often find hidden gems and quality branded items in great condition. The store is small with limited parking in a small lot, and weekends are busy with sometimes long checkout waits. The selection of books and home goods is not huge. However, the store is consistently described as very clean, neat, and well-organized, with staff providing exceptional, kind, and helpful customer service. It is a favorite local Goodwill for many.
Good. +$2 on clothes compared to area outside the cities. You need to put in a membership number to receive color of the week discounts. It's not bad. And there's free parking. Go on a Monday for more open parking spaces.

They make the most of their compact space. The staff is very welcoming & helpful (Anthony was great with giving information to customers).
I like their setup for electronics and the media section. I'll definitely visit again.
