“The ladies in this post office could not have been nicer. We discussed what we needed to do and she kindly and patiently explained how we needed to make that happen. She suggested materials and sold us exactly what we needed. We then went to our vehicle and prepared our envelope and returned to process. A second lady took care of us, professionally and kindly and efficiently. Nothing but good things to say about this post office!”
“Today was such a pleasant experience at USPS. My husband and I visited the office, and even though we arrived at 4:28 PM(just two minutes before closing)the employee was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. She still accepted our mail with a warm smile and treated us with great respect. We don’t know her name, but she was truly lovely, and we really want to thank her. “This is honestly the best USPS location I’ve been to in years. I go out of my way to go here, the professionals are kind, welcoming, they remember you, and they provide exceptional customer service. Make sure to look at their hours before heading to the location, I know a lot of people complain about their hours of operation, but it’s not the workers’ fault. Go as early as possible, lines can be long closer to closing time, but the line usually goes by quick.”

“? India Was the Angel We Needed at USPS! ?
My family and I went to USPS for passport services, and let me just say—India was an absolute God-send. From the moment she stepped in, her kindness, professionalism, and patience turned our stressful visit completely around.
We were initially “helped” by a woman (light-skinned, black hair, shorter in height, with a scowl on her face) who was extremely rude and made us feel like we were a burden. She seemed irritated just by our presence and acted like she wanted no part in helping us. On top of that, she gave us completely wrong information that could have seriously delayed our trip if I hadn’t double-checked and done my own research.
Thankfully, God being so good, India stepped in at just the right time. She was warm, accommodating, and genuinely cared about helping us. Even when the other woman tried to discourage her from assisting us, India stood her ground and made sure we were taken care of. That takes heart and courage. She didn’t just do her job—she went above and beyond to make sure we were treated with respect and got the right information.
India is proof that good people still exist. She completely turned our day around and reminded us that there are still people out there who truly care. USPS is lucky to have her, and we hope the higher-ups recognize the light she brings to that location.
May God bless her in every single way. She was the angel we needed today, and we are forever grateful.”

“Love this Post Office! Manager is very helpful and friendly as are all the workers I have encountered there. This location has full service hours unlike others in this area. Unfortunately, like Jaybird nest, I had a birthday card stolen sent to be by a friend to this location. Since the mail comes out of Norfolk, or Sandston before it gets here the thief could originate from anywhere. Sad, but even people that make good salaries can still be theives.”

She directed us to the Main Street office where we were well taken care of. We came from NN specifically to the Smithfield post offices as they had a great reputation and she definitely lived up to it. Exceptional customer service!”
