309 N Bridge St, BedfordWe've been wanting to try this place for awhile. It did not disappoint!! We were greeted warmly by the owners upon entering. Ordered the Cluck chicken sandwich which comes with a side. Chose the Mediterranean chicken pea salad and hubby for the pasta salad. Both delicious with lots of flavor. Sat on the back deck overlooking the garden area. A very pleasant experience!

Peaks of Otter Lodge
85554 Blue Ridge Pkwy, BedfordThis short trip was a great experience for me. The lodge and room views were the best I have seen - view of lake that is a stone throw away has a well landscaped trail that goes the whole way around lake. And, view of the peak is surreal. The lodges restaurant and best bar ever with our favorite bartender Katie (#guns and roses/November Rain/Hershey Pa) were excellent. The bar was my travel buddies favorite part of trip. The shuttle to peak and hike up and then down was a lot for us old beauties, but we killed it like champions. Looking forward to resting in our clean lodge room and waking up to the beautiful view of lake. We will be back.
