I walked in to see if they had any candy or drinks and the wonderful woman working immediately recognized that we were in a medical emergency. As they do not sell people snacks only delicious snacks for your animal family members, she immediately went to her own snack stash to see if she had anything. I did not get your name but want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing such kindness to a complete stranger. You are a wonderful human being and I hope your boss sees this and you get a fat raise.

Dr. Preston figured out what was wrong with our cat when 3 other vets couldn't, and saved our fur baby's life! I believe they gave all our cats many more happy years than any other vet could have, and everyone there cared for them with more compassion and love than any other vet I've ever been to. We have no more fur babies now, but if we ever have more, these people will be our vet. I can't say enough good things about them.

I have not been happy with some vets before but the vets here only recommend what they need to diagnose any problems, vaccines and preventative to keep my animals healthy, and treatment that is needed. They are extremely compassionate and listen to my concerns and answer my questions in a way i can understand. They have always worked with me on my budget, which can be very tight at times. Their prices are awesome and extremely reasonable compared to other vets that I have seen. They are definitely the vet office to go to!!
Update 3/28/25- still going here. They are my go to vet with my animals.
Update 12/5/25- they have seen my animals and 2 have went over the rainbow bridge under their care....nothing to do with the vet, but all due to old age and ailments from that. Their care has always been kind and compassionate and I know they care for my babies as much as I do.

Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks

1109 Main St SW, RoanokeWhat a wonderful food journey. We enjoyed the tasting menu, which was Gulf Coast themed. It was just as one would expect. I used to enjoy the now closed Metro and their tasting menu years ago, and this lived up to the hype.
Friendly and attentive staff, modern experience, adventurous menu, great bar items. Wasena has come into its own, and Bloom is a big reason why.
Parking can be tough, get an uber would be my advice

The caramelized onions on it were a big hit for me. The guy told me he put a home made chili powder in them which made the hot dog.
