“The store is a little small but the gear they carry is quality. I have never run into the problem of not being able to find what I need. It is a bit on the pricy side because they mainly stock higher-end stuff. Finding affordable cleats, in particular, can be a somewhat challenging but I have been able to pick up a pair that my son liked for under $100 when we've shopped there. Given how much he plays and practices, it's important that he has good-fitting cleats, so it's worth spending a little extra. The staff are always nice, professional, and knowledgeable. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for quality equipment and good recommendations.”

“I decided that this year was the year to get properly fitted for running and walking shoes and conveniently made an appointment online for this location (appointments are available throughout the weekdays and walk-ins are accepted on the weekends). The appointment itself takes about 30 minutes to an hour. Bethany assisted me and listened intently for my goals that I had as a beginner runner. After the fit test (I learned so much about my feet which apparently changed sizes after pregnancy!!!), I was brought out several options for shoes. Bethany was knowledgeable about the different brands and styles. I ended up leaving with 2 separate pairs (one for running and one for walking). Pricing is fair and the shoes have been great so far in my fitness journey. This store is conveniently located in Fairfax Corner and was easy to find.”

“I've had several interactions with Golfdom in Tysons, and they have all been excellent. I was fitted for irons and wedges with Charlie, and for woods with Gary. Each experience was professional and exceptionally helpful. I also bought a stand bag for my new clubs. One zipper on one side broke, and I happen to mention it to Dan at the front desk. He asked me to show him the bag, so I brought it in from the car. He told me to pick out a new bag to replace the one with the broken zipper! I had only mentioned it to see if he might recommend a way to have it fixed, but he said that the store and the bag manufacturer stand by their products. I recommend Golfdom without reservation. Excellent!”

“Merrifield Golf is the perfect golf store. They have great products and even better customer service. I recently got fitted and the experience was great! When I came to pick up my clubs thr owner let me swing on their simulator and even gave me tips. I come all the way from Maryland but it was well worth the drive. If you ever need anything golf related, come here.”

“I am a 'buy online' first guy but I have bought shin guards and cleats for my kid here because the prices were actually slightly less than Amazon and Dick's for the same item. On top of that, they are next to the Trader Joe's and Whole Foods I always go to, they have my kids' club team gear, and the guys who worked there actually recommended AGAINST buying a more expensive cleat for my kid based on her age and playing level.”

“Lacrosse unlimited is amazing. I go there every time I need my stick restrung. Their staff is so nice and so knowledgeable about the sport. I even once broke my stick the day before a game and needed a new one asap. We went there and got a new stick stung overnight right in time for my game. Awesome experience here definitely hit it up if your lacrosse player!”

“Jason is the ski boot guru. I had bought custom boots from SnS a couple years ago only for them to be super uncomfortable after 2 wears. I brought them in and worked with someone who was not that helpful and did nothing more than heat mold the liners. A friend suggested I contact Jason who moonlights at SnS. I brought them in, explained what was happening, and he worked on them for 1.5 hours. I left having boots that were no longer cutting off my circulation and were actually comfortable. Cannot recommend Jason enough. I will definitely be buying my next set of boots from him.”

“I recently attended the Open Water Dive course, and really enjoyed the experience. First of all, the well organized shop, nice classroom, and enthusiastic, knowledgeable instructors gave me a great feeling of confidence. There were three instructors for a class of 8 students, so we all got lots of personal attention. There was enough classroom time to discuss the overall diving experience. The rental equipment was well fitted and worked great, the pool facilities were also the best (at a nearby Fairfax County rec center). I highly recommend them if you are interested in diving. And by the way, I'm 73 years old, so if I can do it, so can you!”

“So I moved to Stafford and I used to go to their store in Falls Church. I'm so glad they have this drop off location in Woodbridge. I wish they have a store here but upon talking to Jen, she said they can add anything to my order before I pick up my racket so no need to travel to Falls Church. I LOVE THIS!!! The drop off is a UPS store, which is better than fighting the traffic back and forth to Falls Church, just to get my racket restrung. I definitely recommend them if you want quality and great service, it's worth dropping off your racket to them or if you want to go to their store in Falls Church. Either way, best service, fast turnaround and knowledgeable team. Oh and FYI, they have tennis balls!!!”

A large selection of dog-related gear, also! Wheelchair accessible, although some clothing aisles are cramped, & some items are too high for reach without assistance.”

“So I went to check out this Nike store because I heard they have refurbished shoes and I was hoping to grab something for a steal. My wish was granted. They have a section just for refurbished shoes and they are marked down with an extra 30% off!! You can’t beat that, and it wasn’t even crowded. They have plenty clothing items that are also marked down by 30% which are not refurbished. Here’s a few pics.”

We went in for the famous Bruce Bolts gloves for my son and they did not have any youth size on the rack and the sales person went and found some in the back in different sizes for my son and I truly appreciate that kind of rare customer service. This was done without me asking him or even knowing I can do that. So next time if you see something online but not in store...always ask them. They are nice to help. We ended up getting gloves and a baseball bat.”
