“I’ve been coming to this little mercado since I was a little girl, and it’s honestly so much more than just a store it’s a piece of our homeland right here in the community. Every time I walk through the doors, it feels like stepping back into our country. The smells, the music, the friendly faces it’s comfort in every sense of the word.
You can find a little bit of everything here: from the traditional medicines and remedies from our homeland to delicious food. It’s the kind of place where you stop in for one thing and end up staying to chat and share a laugh.
What makes this store even more special is the heart behind it. When my uncle was going through a kidney transplant due to lupus, the owners helped raise money for his transplant. That kind of kindness and generosity is something I’ll never forget it showed how much they truly care about the people who walk through their doors.
They treat everyone like family. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. It’s a treasure in our community, and I’m so grateful for everything they do.”

“Filling Co. Gas and Grub in Brambleton is in a great location and is one of the nicer gas stations in the area. The service is always good and the overall setup inside makes it feel more inviting than a typical gas station. It is a convenient stop whether you are fueling up or grabbing something quick to eat.
The main drawback is the outdoor seating area. While it is a nice idea to have tables and space to sit outside the area is not maintained the way it should be. There is often trash scattered around along with bees and geese droppings which makes it unpleasant to use. For a place that otherwise does so many things right this part feels neglected.
If more attention were given to keeping the outdoor area clean it would match the quality of the inside and make this one of the best stops in Brambleton.”
“I come specifically for the Sopa de Res (Beef Soup), and it never disappoints. It is seriously the best beef soup I've had—incredibly tender beef, hearty vegetables, and a rich, deep broth. It's the definition of comfort food done right. If you visit, order this. Period”

“After moving to the area 7 years ago this 7-11 has been my go to for snacks, refreshments ect regularly since it only 2 miles away. But the most important thing is the staff. I’ve been to so many 7-11’s and I must say the crew here is just wonderful. Always smiling and just plain being courteous! Kudos to management and staff!!”
“I have tried to return Sydney's (the regional manager) messages, but I have no direct line, all of your extensions hang up on me or the voicemail is full, your email prompt doesn't work and the help desk person wasn't helpful. I travel for a living and am often not available to answer the phone. However, I am available this Tuesday March 16 after 12p for phone call. This concerns the Edsall Road Shell Station incident. The 1 star is subject to change after contact.
Update: After Sydney (the regional manager) reached out to me with a more detailed message (I was in the airport and didn’t hear my phone ringing) I am happier, thanks. I raised my review rating as a result.”

The dumplings here by far are the best in the area and also in my experience, the best I’ve had in the DMV. “Wawa is one of my favorite convenience stores, offering much more than just the basics. Every visit feels quick, smooth, and satisfying. The store is always well-organized, clean, and stocked with a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials. What really stands out is their fresh food section, where you can order made-to-order sandwiches, hoagies, and coffee just the way you like.
I recently ordered a turkey hoagie and a hot coffee, and both were excellent. The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and prepared exactly as requested. The coffee was rich and had a great aroma, perfect for a quick energy boost. The self-order touchscreen system makes the process fast and convenient, especially during busy hours.
The staff at Wawa are usually friendly and helpful, ensuring customers feel welcomed. Even when the store is crowded, the service remains efficient, and the wait times are reasonable.

“A phenomenal public restroom experience! The bathroom is clearly well maintained to the highest order of cleanliness. The aroma of the bathroom hugs your nostrils, welcoming you to take a relaxing dump. The male restroom even has a baby changing station, challenging many of the traditional gender that have become but irrelevant in our modern era. If you ever feel the desperate need to stop and relieve yourself, know that this Sheetz will NOT disappoint you. It is worth nothing that my review is only for the male restroom, as I do not have the necessary pre-requisites to do a review of the female restroom; however, it is safe to assume that it will also fail to disappoint any of the ladies who desire relief.”

“Don’t judge this place by the outside because it looked a little sketchy at first, but the drinks definitely surprised me. I tried their fresada and it was SO good — fresh strawberries blended with condensed milk is such a perfect combo. Sweet, creamy, and honestly addicting. Definitely one of those drinks you keep thinking about after leaving.
Ordering was pretty easy overall, but I do wish the staff had been a little more helpful or explained the menu better, especially if it’s your first time there. Customer service could use some improvement.
The vibe may not look like much, but the fresada made it worth the stop. I’d go back just for that drink. ??”

“It's not the cheapest around but sure is the friendliest. Everyone says hi to one another / waves at each other. Sirs back off the road, you'd almost miss it. Smells of fried chicken when you walk in bc they have a nice little deli inside w fresh food. Lastly, they have a huge parking lot in case you park & ride.”
