“Impressive selection and great prices! I needed a couple specific adapters for commercial grade communications equipment and wanted to get them locally. Looks like H.C. Baker’s is the ONLY place in the Roanoke-Salem-Christiansburg area that has them and then some- I was pleasantly surprised to see the inventory online as well. Wish I wasn’t in a hurry when I stopped by, but I’ll definitely be back for RF connectors/adapters as well as batteries for Back-UPS boxes. So glad I came across this store!”

“This store saved me from having to move my service to another company. After visiting another location I am surprised that one hasn't run off many customers. They were too busy on the phone, and never even brought up my account on the computer. Kept talking on her ear buds on the phone and told me I only had 1 option for my upgrade. She Did not want to help at all. Total disrespect. The 9th Street store..this store was a total opposite. Very nice, helpful, and did more than the bare minimum. Went out of his way for me. The first thing he did was pull up my account btw. Showed me many options as well and was very honest. If you are wanting to go to Metro PCS ( I can't get a better plan for 2 of us) do not go anywhere but this location on 9th Street SE.”

“I called with a request to replace just the faceplate on a 27-year old home intercom. The intercom itself hadn't worked in years, but at least I had been able to order a new faceplate, which would be a great cosmetic improvement on the wall. David admitted they hadn't worked on those in years and the associate who did that had retired. However, he apparently felt sorry for my dilemma and offered to come to my home just to see what he could do.
Unbelievably, not only do I now have the new faceplate installed, but the entire intercom system is working again - even the doorbell ! Kudos can't express how grateful I am for David's kindness and his expertise !!”
