“Prices here are always lower than surrounding area - sometimes as much as 10 cents/gallon lower. It's pretty quick to get in and out, even if there's a line. It runs pretty smoothly. You can scan your membership card or scan the qr code on the app to begin. The attendant is helpful and friendly, even on 95° days when the 'feels like' temp is 101°!”

“On work travel and really bored with the same old same old. I really just wanted a good sandwich. Followed the reviews and was not disappointed. The place was hopping at lunch time but they were steadily cranking out the food even for people with large orders of four sandwiches or more. I got the Roast Beef on Sourdough with LTO and horseradish mayo. It was everything a good roast beef should be. Not the overly salty stuff the cheap deli's use. This was a lovely rare roast beef and the bread was soft and wonderful. I was thinking it would last for lunch and dinner, but I couldn't stop eating it. Delish!”

Depends on how much I spend at the grocery store. It's no big deal, need to eat but saves me at the pumps!”

“I had to come on and rave about how awesome our Charlottesville Costco is - especially Simone from the Tire Center who saved me soooo much today!! I thought I had a screw in my tire and wasn't sure if they needed to be replaced (good ol AWD vehicles). While walking past the tire center, Simone asked if she could help me and I explained my problem. Without missing a beat she asked which vehicle was mine & went to see with her own eyes. (PS - I have absolutely just interrupted her workday flow and I'd never know it from the BEYOND accommodating way I was treated).
After inspection, she discovered it was an extremely lucky situation that required her only to remove the pin and there seemed to be no leak. BUT NO - SHE WAS NOT DONE BEING AMAZING - Simone went in to get soapy water and checked to make sure that no air was escaping and saved me 4 NEW TIRES. Y'all that is no small expense when I was just told I'd have to replace them all by another company!
Just had to come on here and say thank you to Simone - you absolutely made my day & your kindness was felt throughout the whole process. Thank you Simone, thank you Costco Tire Shop, thank you again to Simone - I am so glad to have such an amazing Costco in Charlottesville to count on. And they are only made great by the employees that make them that way!!”
“I had just driven from Roanoke to Charlottesville for Dr's visit at UVA and my oil light came on. One of the clinicians at UVA advised me of a very nice full service gas station not far from Fontaine Park. The station was wonderful and serviced my car and had me back on the road in no time. They are great.”

“Great staff, high prices on food items, but it's a convenience store. Bathroom always clean, even if it's a bad set up. Could definitely use some kind of foot pull to open the door since some people are still to lazy or stupid to wash their hands and there's no paper towels. And if you don't stand to the side to wash your hands you risk getting smacked with the door if someone else comes in. Food recently changed up a bit and offers more selections. Not too bad taste wise either. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10. Gas is usually higher here too.”
