Wawa is an all-day, everyday convenience store in Charlottesville's Pantops area, open 24 hours for gas and food. It is a big, clean, and well-lit location that is pretty new. It offers competitively priced fuel, including ethanol-free gas from a separate nozzle, and diesel is always available. The pumps are fast and all work. The store provides a wide variety of built-to-order food and hand-crafted specialty beverages, from breakfast sandwiches and biscuits to hot and cold hoagies for lunch and crave-worthy dinner options after 4pm. It uses fresh ingredients. However, there are not many options for vegetarians and vegans. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The restrooms are clean, though there are no changing tables for parents with children. The location is noted as being a bit far from the interstate exit for through-travelers. Overall, it is a highly recommended convenient store.

The best sub I’ve had at 10:00 PM. Fantastic combo deal for only six bucks! The sub was every bit as good or better than Subways or Jersey Mike’s. All the ingredients taste fresh and they made it very quickly. Can’t beat the value and quality.
