“This office is really incredible, so professional and knowledgeable surgeons/vets. Dr. Rudd worked us in same day for a CT scan and surgery first thing the next day. Sadly our 10 year old sweet lab mix had aggressive cancer and only 2 weeks to live. But the phone calls from the doctor, visits and compassion were phenomenal.”
“My sweet cat Hades came to Monticello for some tooth extractions. Dr Anderson and Brittany were amazing!! They clearly studied his records to understand all that he's been through medically and were so kind to him. They provided excellent communication and I was comforted knowing he was in such good hands. Even the scheduler Shanah was great at getting everything in order to limit the stress on him for the procedure. This is a fantastic practice and Im so thankful for every one of them and the care they provide!!”

“So I unfortunately only became a part of the Old Dominion family recently when my cat became very ill and my gf brought him there for a second opinion. He had to be put down about two weeks later, obviously being very difficult decision for me to make. Let me tell you the professionalism, care, love, and thoughtfulness of the vet and the staff will make me never go anywhere else. They treated Jackson so well and were so supportive of me during this heartbreaking moment of my life. Just received a support letter today and it was not just some generic letter they send out. It was handwritten and signed by the entire staff and while it made me sad thinking about my buddy, the overwhelming compassion I felt was just what I needed. They even had taken paw prints and nose prints and included those for keepsakes, which meant the world to me. Old Dominion, be proud of what you represent, because you guys are amazing at what you do. Thank you for everything.”
“My dog got his foot stuck in a heater floor vent cover and was in a lot of pain we could not get it off at home he was in so much pain he was trying to bite us while we were helping him. I knew he had to go be put to sleep in order to get it fixed. Im living in Louisa and couldnt find any vet that would help but vetts took him right in and got it off within 20 minutes. These people were so kind about everything to deal with my dog hulk getting the care he needed they even cut his toenails (which he never let me do he would bit the trimmers ? ) and they did it for free i expected to be paying close to 1,000.00 for services and they knew i didnt have any money currently (dont judge everyone has had their down moments) and i walked away paying less than 350.00! And now my boy is feeling back to him self it was bad but small incident and i was really upset about it but they were so easy going i instantly felt better when we walked in.

“The crew at Cville Veterinary Hospital is amazing. We've enjoyed working with everyone (vets, techs, vet assistants, reception), but want to give a special shout out to Dr. Luzaich. She is always patient, kind, and knowledgeable - which is no easy task, considering one of our senior dogs is considerably cranky. And finally, kudos to Kim at reception. She's able to take our ramblings of symptoms over the phone and translate them into notes for the vets. Bonus: she always has a kind word for our pups when they come into the office.”

“Added a guinea to our family but the little fellow came with horrendous nails which I was a bit uncomfortable trying to trim, especially since they are dark and I couldn't see the quick. They scheduled him in a very timely mannerly and from the moment he and I stepped in the clinic door to leaving was less than 15 minutes. The fee for the trim? Ten dollars. I will certainly let them trim his nails rather than worry about hurting him!”

“I can't say enough about how wonderful the people at Cat Care Clinic are! Everyone is always friendly when I call, and Stacy (Head Technician) is the absolute best! Whenever I email with one of my (many) questions, she writes back that day and is always knowledgeable, optimistic, and good-humored (despite the fact that my cat has been VERY badly behaved at her visits). She recently had surgery with Dr. Mahanes to remove a lump, and Stacy was with me every step of the way, answering all of my questions before surgery and checking in daily during recovery. It was a very stressful time, and Stacy made everything so much easier. She is truly committed and devoted to her work. As for the surgery, Dr. Mahanes did a wonderful job, and my cat is fine now. Knowing that I have both of these woman to count on during the life of my cat eases my mind and heart.”
