“My grandson bought a suit for prom at Philip Michael. The sales associate measured him, including the waist. Most men that wear suits would know that all suits are sold as a set (jacket and pants). So obviously, just because the jacket fits, doesn’t mean the pants will too. Teenagers may not understand that. Unfortunately the sales associate didn’t pick up on that and didn’t advise him to try on the pants since his waist was obviously smaller than the pants size. My grandson figured the jacket fit so the pants must fit too. When he tried to exchange the pants (from a 38 to a 33) he was told he couldn’t exchange just the pants. Still no advice to get them altered. I called and explained the situation and asked if they would do a rush alteration. They were immediately accommodating and when my grandson brought them in (2 days before prom) they did the alterations on the spot to his satisfaction. People make mistakes, and while the situation didn’t start off as I thought it should have, they were more than happy to make things right. Customer service goes a long way. It is for this reason, I am giving them 5 stars.”

She presented lots of options (everything looked great). My son was happy and it was a completely stress-free experience for me. The employee picked up quickly and told me exactly what I needed to know with additional helpful information. 15 minutes later I was in the store and they helped me take the item off of the shelf. “A dying breed of store. Online shopping is driving such stores into oblivion. This store tries to offer something more, but fails. If you need to touch items you want to buy, this is a great place to go and search for that item you found online. But, dont expect the sales staff to know anything or even be helpful.”

“I had an amazing experience at this store today! I had ordered several items online and they did not fit. The woman working kindly took care of the return in about a minute and suggested I browse the store. I went on the sales floor and I very friendly guy helped me and with his help I picked out twenty shirts and pants. Checkout was quick and the same woman who helped me before scanned a coupon that took off one hundred dollars! Absolutely the best experience at a clothing store in over a decade!”

“I came in for an exchange on a pair a green and crème Jordan’s from the lynnhaven store, size 1.5. I just want to say that the staff was warm and friendly from the time my sons and I walked in the store, they asked how I was doings there was a man with locs, a few grays in the locs who made sure to not only speak to myself but my kids. Asked how our day was going . There was a bit of a chase to find my shoe but in the midst of it they were all reassuring. There was a really tall guy, I’m short (4’11) and he heard one girl say that she rejected my order and just reminded her to watch what she says in front of customers , he noticed my body language or facial expression and mentioned that I didn’t look the happiest in the moment , which I didn’t , buttttt even with trying to find the store they were all calm, respectful, active and nice. Kudos to the staff at this store, they have spirits that are welcoming and I love that .”
