“Amazing place with great variety and prices on true vintage pieces. It was a very fun to look through the selection Tracey had to offer. When I stopped in I was traveling back up to Maryland from Virginia Beach and saw a Tuxedo I liked in the store but was a bit uncertain about getting it. I ended up not buying it in store, but I was able to reach out to Tracey the next day who was able to ship it to me when I decided I was missing out! Lovely shop and service, a must stop if you are a fan of vintage pieces!!”

“I had an incredible experience at DXL thanks to Chris. I came in needing an outfit for a wedding, and he made the entire process smooth from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right look. He didn’t rush me or just try to make a sale. He made sure the fit was right, the style matched the occasion, and that I walked out feeling confident. Shopping can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Chris made it easy and enjoyable. His professionalism and customer service were top tier. If you’re visiting DXL, I highly recommend asking for Chris. He truly goes above and beyond. 10/10 experience.”

“Best… Thrift like store… EVER. Several different pieces ranging from business casual, formal, street ware, alt fashion, to everything else in between. Great for pre loved designer finds and staple pieces alike. Also full of jeans, so you’re guaranteed to get the right look, whether it’s a flare or a rib skinny you’re looking for. Great place to hang out, very clean, smells GREAT, and the staff is very respectful, kind, and helpful. I’ve never came out of a thrift store and been like “oh I’m comin back!” Until today.”

“I’ve been shopping at 5.11 stores across the country for years, and no experience has even come close to the customer service I get from Landon and Brody every time I go in. I swear, they bend over backwards to find me exactly what I’m looking for, and seem to do it happily! I owned a chain of retail stores for almost a decade, so please know how much I mean this- these guys are the best! -A”

“There was a misunderstanding on my part of booking the appointment, and a misunderstanding, when I showed up for my appointment. Even though it did not work out to bring my son in for his prom rental, the owner reached out personally to talk about this matter with me..that is reason enough that I would recommend Miguel’s in the future and will visit again soon. Thank you Michael!”

“The best surf and swim shop in the region. Their best items are their surf gear followed by swim wear and my favorite, the freestyle shark watches. One of my favorite staff members is Ms. Cabanos (Arielle Cabanos) who i had the honor and privilege to purchase some of my shark watches from.”

“box lunch may just be my new favorite go-to store! and not just because they have a great selection of things to browse but also because of the associates there!! specifically jenae (my gworll!) she made my experience fun, with her great upbeat attitude and welcoming conversation! it was nice to shop around and have an associate be attentive but not be down your back while perusing. kenneth too who I swear is the best!!!! by sheer luck and the awesomeness that he possesses, he picked out a blind box for me (I told him I was looking for a specific one) and when I opened it in store after purchasing it was the one I was looking for!!! all the associates were amazing, and it honestly felt like seeing your friends when they're at work (lol!) great store with great atmosphere and a great selection! ✨”

“Have you ever tried to buy a pair of shoes for a very hard to fit person??? We it's no picnic. However, I was in the VA bch store when the manager Christina was on duty. She did more than be helpful, she spent more time and effort to assure us that if we're not happy with the shoes just bring them back even if they were worn . I have never had someone be so helpful and considerate, I would recommend this store to everyone. Super service and extremely helpful. Give I a 11+ out of 10.”

“Great staff, store is immaculate. I went last night at 9 PM and tried on four pairs of pants in fitting booth number four. They were very helpful and I think it was the manager who made sure that I found everything all right and that everything was taken care of. I put the pants in the basket after them not working and they did not mind. I then picked out two pairs that did work and the cashier was very helpful. I will definitely be back and what made it so good as often times at the end of the night people give you attitude for coming into the store, which I can’t stand because they are being paid to be there until close this location. They had zero attitude, other than being friendly and doing a good job.”

“I'm a first time shopper at the princess Anne kohl's location and will be shopping at the chain again. When shopping looking for a nice suit jacket and button up shirt for my son's senior prom. We were greeted after walking in and asked if we needed any assistance. I absolutely love the exceptional customer service we received, after working 24 years in retail I will be returning. This is how you are supposed to operate a store and my son was pleased from the management helping us to find the men's department. To finding the suit jacket shoes and shirt, we had help all around the board. Thanks for making our shopping experience all that and more.”

“If you're looking for a men's clothing store in Hampton Roads that genuinely delivers, Beecroft & Bull at Hilltop is in a class of its own. I've been shopping here for the past couple of years and have been helped by several different people on the floor, and every single one of them has been knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in getting it right. On my most recent visit, Chris was my primary salesperson and he was outstanding. I needed outfits for both formal and business casual events, and he took the time to actually understand what I was after. His taste is excellent, but more importantly, he listened. I came in with a budget, and rather than pushing me toward the priciest pieces, he worked within it and helped me put together multiple outfits I genuinely love. That experience wasn't a one-off, though. It's the standard here. Whoever you end up working with, you'll get the same care and the same eye for fit and detail. The quality of the clothing matches the quality of the service: every piece feels considered, well-made, and built to last. I've shopped all over the Hampton Roads area and there is honestly nothing else like this store. If you want to dress better without being talked at or upsold, this is the place.”

“I can’t say enough good things about TJ. I walked into the store literally 10 minutes before closing in a bit of a panic. My daughter had just told me she needed an all black dress for a formal chorus concert at the last minute, and I had no idea where to start. TJ immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to help. He quickly found a great option, and on top of that, it was on sale. He didn’t rush us at all, even though they were about to close. He helped me hold the dress up so I could take pictures and send them to my daughter to get her approval. Thanks to him, we walked out with exactly what we needed, and my daughter was thrilled. He was an absolute lifesaver. Customer service like that is rare, especially at closing time. Huge thanks to TJ.”

“I had an absolutely incredible experience on every front. I worked with Jennifer and she was so helpful. I was wedding suit shopping, and I'm on the younger side for getting married but no comments were made and she was super sweet from the very start. Answered all my 100 questions and got me exactly what I needed. I will definitely be coming back if I ever need anything again.”
