“One of my new favorite places! I have driven by I don't know how many times since moving back to the area and what can I say, sometimes I have to work up the chutzpah to go into a new place by myself, yes, I know, I'm a strange bird sometimes.Anyway, even as a person who can feel a touch of anxiety about odd things now and again I felt very much at ease in this place, right away. It smells lovely, and there are so many beautiful marvelous things to look at, it's a truly charming environment. I'd set aside some time to meander slowly through, though even if you do it would be impossible to notice everything in one trip, which is part of that charm.The prices for most things are surprisingly reasonable, especially on some of the larger antique pieces. The items which are priced on the higher side are still reasonable, and those prices reflect the fact that those items are the handmade creations of local artists, artists this shop works hard to showcase.Ms. Nanette was there during my visit, and somehow she seemed to know little personal details about everything I showed interest in, pointing out vintage pieces she thought I would like based on our conversation.It is rare to find a shop like this, and service that makes you feel like you're getting a private tour of a whimsical museum. There is almost an overwhelming amount to take in, but everything is arranged with purpose, thoughtfulness, and care.I am very much looking forward to going back, I won't think twice about it again.Next time I'll have to take pictures.”

“After a recent fiberglass-to-tile shower renovation, we were very unhappy with the sliding glass shower enclosure the contractor installed. We found Complete Interior Package, Inc. who provide custom shower glass enclosures. We wish we had known about them sooner. From the receptionist to the installer, they are very professional and delivered and installed the glass shower enclosure we always wanted. Highly recommend.”
“This location was rather busy at 1: 30pm. The aisles were full of stuff to be stocked. I wish the Buck and a quarter store would have more than 1 register open when they are busy.
But hey, it's quantity not quality for a buck and a quarter.”
“What can I say about Gabe's other than I love this store and it's awesome selection if you like Ross or TJ Maxx or Burlington Gabe's will have you right at home and gives you if not more or all of these types of stores all-in-one and still has I believe more to offer plus it has its own Off the Wall Vans shoe line which I think they're cool and look very nice and again the price point you cannot beat it if I was anyone who hasn't been two games yet if you're looking for a bargain for clothes and a name brand all-in-one it's a it's a name brand bargain!”

“I used to like Ross for the dress sale. They don't seem to be having many dresses but I can always find one piece here and there to add to my wardrobe. I always go through the Arts and Crafts section as well as the kitchen section. And changing my living room I tend to pull it together from various searches so Ross is one of my first go to places and then I'll go to Home Goods. Before purchasing the furniture and knowing what colors I wanted to use I found accessories and rugs for pop of color. I refuse to return them even when I had to return the furniture but fam what I really want it in the same color so the rugs will work and the pillows as well. I've been fortunate over the years to find some really good things”
“If you want it, this place very likely has it. It's like the slightly more upscale version of Home Goods. More stuff, slightly higher prices for some things, but you'll never get bored walking through all the aisles and gazing at anything and everything ranging from candles, office decor, home & garden decor, candy, snacks, some toys. There's a lot.”
“Went to get a couple of things, but that's not what happened. Had to search through the racks to find the correct size, but they had a huge selection to choose from. The toys on the tables were a mess, but the price was cheaper . Pocket books had a good selection to choose from. They did open another line when they saw the first line was long. Had a nice conversation with my cashier.”

“Great customer er service and the install company did a great job, My only complaint would be that at least one of the crew bw able to speak English. This is by no means a flaw on the Great job they did but was hard to communicate with them. They had great attention to detail!”
“The best location. The manager at the Midlothian store did not help the two cashiers at all. She was in the jewelry section working with stock. We were in line for 15 minutes and more than ten people behind us. The Willow Lawn location is junky and dirty. I found more products in the back of the store that was hanging up waiting to be put out in the desired departments. At least I got first choice. The older lady on the register with a ton of make-up on is good at her job but she is rude. The best location is on Brook Rd near VA. Center Commons. I told this to the short pretty African American Mgr. I think she is an area manager or something to that nature. It was on her name tag. She said she is told that a lot.”
“Stopped in this cute shop on a rainy Sunday. Was quickly greeted by a charming young lady. The shop is located in an old house that is very cool in itself, many rooms containing very nice displays. They showcase an eclectic variety of home decor, gifts, upcycled items, vintage and antique lots of their items were just my style. They had a fun selection of jewelry at good prices. fancy door knobs and hooks old and new. When I was ready to make my purchases, it was a friendly, quick and efficient check out. I am very happy with the goodies I bought. I don't live in the area but would definitely return to Hoo's Pickin anytime I'm in that neck of the woods. Very pleasant experience. A happy customer from Doswell, VA”
“RC gets a 5 star, but Haynes overall gets a 4 star because I walked in and none of the salespeople approached me and I was ready to make a purchase. I know a couple of them had seen me. I walked around and found RC and he was happy to assist.”
