“Exceptional service from Jennifer and Elijah!
Even though I was not quite ready to make a purchase, Jennifer and Elijah provided outstanding assistance in helping me plan and decorate an entire house. If this is the level of service customers receive before making a purchase, I can only imagine how amazing the experience will be once I actually buy my furniture.
When I arrived, my intention was simply to explore options at this store and several others. However, by the time Jennifer and Elijah finished helping me, I was completely sold and no longer felt the need to look anywhere else. They helped me find everything I needed to furnish my home.

“Walked in just looking for a couch didn’t expect to buy one at all! Then the greatest person of all time, Timothy helped so much and inspired me to buy a couch right then and there. It was so quick and easy and I got a beautiful, quality three seat sofa recliner for a GREAT DEAL they have plenty of “hot buy” deals in store and great finance program as well. “I was quickly greeted by a consultant when I entered the store, Judy showed me examples of several swivel chairs. Once I had selected the style of chair I wanted, I could not decide on the fabric. She offered to come to my home with samples to see how they looked with the area rug in my den. When she visited my home, I easily selected a fabric. She kept me posted on the progress of my chairs being ready. The chairs were actually delivered earlier than promised and I love them! She emailed me after the delivery men brought the chairs into my den and sent her a picture of them. I will definitely return to Ethan Allen and Judy when I decide to buy furniture in the future.”
“I have not received my chair yet, so I can comment on the excellent service I received when I went to the lazy boy store in richmond. Tatania (sp) was very personable and knowledgeable about the furniture. I was given plenty of time to test out the chair and go through all the ins and outs of a chair that actually heats and massages. Everything was explained very clearly, and I felt very welcome in the store. I received the chair in two days and I can't wait. ( I have since received the chair and it is so comfortable and nice to have in the house).”

“I write very few reviews, but this store is absolutely incredible. The owner, Don, has curated an incredible collection of vintage glassware, crystal, china, pottery - essentially any items in these categories you can imagine from different countries and different periods, organized by color and design. Even if you're not in the market for glassware, china, pottery, the store takes you through history and is a quasi museum. If you're lucky, Don might give you a personal tour of all four of his stores (don't miss the other two just to the right of the main store entrance!) I've purchased vintage items including an English bone china set, apothecary jars, a crystal vase, champagne coups, cornbread skillet... All at reasonable prices. If you are within a two or three hour radius (talking to you, NOVA) it is without question worth the drive and a fun day trip. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Do not miss this gem.”

Thanks to his knowledge, I was able to get the theatre chairs that I have been wanting for a very long time and learn all about what they really and truly offered. My six year old granddaughter had a great time during the visit. She enjoyed the kids section, the new smart bed, and the kind people that welcomed her with open arms. “We bought our sofa from them on Memorial Day and they held it until July. From the second we walked in the staff was kind, accommodating and never once made us feel pressured or rushed in our decision. We ended up with the first one we tried there.
When we came to pick it up they had the whole thing wrapped up and ready for us by the door! They even helped us load it.
From square one everything was smooth and easy. The five stars is simply not enough. Amazing business and we will

“This is my absolute favorite place to shop in all of Richmond! There are so many talented local artists that sell their goods in this shop. There is also an excellent mix of vintage and antique items. I could literally spend two hours in this shop just browsing. The owner, Anne, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Nanette, who also works there, is so kind and welcoming every time I visit. What Anne has done to support the local art community, is so commendable. You can tell she truly cares about every artist that is in her shop.”

“Absolutely love this place! I've shopped here for years but our experience yesterday was worth sharing. I took my mom out for her first shopping trip post a major surgery. It was the first pretty spring day so everyone was out and the store was packed. Despite the crowds, the owner treated us like we were the only people in the store. Never frazzled, going out of her way to help us find items that we were looking for and making calls to other locations to track down a shirt that my mom wanted. The service that we had yesterday will keep us coming back for years to come! Kudos to you all and thank you!”

“This place is really well curated. I’ve been to few shops in the south with this level of consistency in quality and beauty. The ones I recently visited in Charleston at this level were significantly more expensive. Of course that’s Charleston money, but the point is that most of these types of places are either junky or 1%’er money.
Walking through was a breath of fresh air.

All over the phone and text, she checked inventory, provided delivery options, and sent over quotes in no time. I was incredibly impressed by how well she knew her stock and how quickly she calculated timelines for special orders. To top it off, I texted her a photo of my room, and she used an AI tool to reply with pictures of how the furniture would actually look in my space. She truly went the extra mile - highly recommend working with Lea!”
