We found two great finds (a lamp and end table time) last time we were there, which are perfect for our space. The table needed love and the Furniture Rescue team did such a great job we almost did recognize it when we picked it up. They are upcycling really cool things at a very reasonable price! “If you’re looking for a furniture store that has a carefully curated selection of high quality leather sofas, this is the perfect place.They carried well known brands that are difficult to find in store, and many of their offerings are customizable. The staff is friendly and thankfully doesn’t hover. Because I have cats and don’t know how they react to leather, I opted to have a trial period with a cheaper sofa first. However, I will be coming back to purchase once I confirm my cats leave leather alone!”

“At Home has a variety of decor, household needs, and indoor/ outdoor furniture. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are few staff members on the floor of the large facility. The few staff members there are busy stocking the showroom and operating the checkout kiosk. Usually, we've one or two working.”
“I contracted with VanEck Studio to choose paint colors for my entire house. The owner came to my house during the day and then back another day in the evening to compare lighting under different conditions. She picked a palette of colors that I would never have chosen for myself, but decided that I would go with them because she is a professional. Wow! I am so amazed at the changes in my house! I'm loving every single color she has chosen. I'm attaching pictures of the guest bedroom since I just finished painted that room. I highly recommend VanEck Studio and will use them again soon to design my master bath renovation.Services: Interior painting”

“Decided to visit old town, Manassas during my staycation and walk around (I live close by but never think to go walk around and enjoy the sites, restaurants and stores until now). Stopped into Calico Jack's to look around and was greeted by one of the staff members named Kristi. She was welcoming, personable and kind. They didn't have my size in some of the T-shirts I was interested in, but Kristi offered to order my size in any T-shirt I was interested in. I put in the order, and it was ready 5 days later. Was greeted by a young male staff member when picking up the T-shirt. He as welcoming and nice. Very good customer experience visiting this store.”

“I was in the store last night & bought a beautiful Monet! I noticed there was another one and thought later it would be so lovely for my work. I called today & the man who answered took the time to look on the floor to see if it was still there. Unbeknownst to me he put it on hold after confirming it was there. When I had a small window of time between jobs, I called when minutes away from the store to ask if it was still there and be pulled to be held. The lady who answered informed me it was already being held for me! Customer service, in general, has gone down significantly - especially since Covid! This was so refreshing to be served in this way above and beyond! Thank you!”

They also have a nice selection of Virginia (and made-in-Virginia) gifts, including local things like kitchen towels that say Fairfax on them, and a lot of cute things that are perfect for when you want to give a gift but don't want to give something really generic. Most stuff in the store is made in the USA, also a plus.”
