“Stopped by this afternoon after finding this place on google. It's tucked away so we didn't even realize it was here. The owner asked if we were looking for anything in particular we mention we wanted Mid Century furniture. She walked us all through the store and showed us some beautiful pieces! We were on a time crunch so couldn't browse long, but ended up leaving with a gorgeous mcm rattan hanging light at an incredible price. We can't wait to go back again soon to see what other treasures we can find!”

“I shop Hobby Lobby for sewing needs. PROS: Sells fabric on the bolt, a few fat quarters, and a few jelly roll packs. They have a good range of fabric options, notions, trims, catalogs and patterns (e.g., McCalls, Simplicity brands at regularly 30% off), licensed fleece, lots of yarn. Plenty of parking. Upscale area.CONS: None really.Neither pro nor con: I wish they'd sell more corduroy. There was only 1 bolt, and it was not the color I needed.”

“The owner fixed my lamps the same day; however, I had a problem with the lamp not working. Again, when I took it back, he fixed everything on the same day. Would recommend this business and staff to others. Excellent work and very friendly staff and expertise in their craft.”

“This is a high end womans' clothing store that also sells some household goods like throw pillows and fuzzy couch blankets. There are a limited offering of jewelry, gift items and makeup. On clothing there is no price difference for plus sizes. Soft Surroundings also has catalogs that come out seasonally.”

“My husband and I had a great experience here due to Mema's customer service and assistance! She is one of the best salespeople we have encountered anywhere. She greeted us immediately and stayed close by as we shopped to answer any questions without being too "in our faces." We found a sectional we loved and got a good President's Day deal on it. We visited 4 other furniture stores afterwards just to shop around and no one compared to Mema and her great service or to the deal this store offered. We LOVE our new sectional and can't wait until it's delivered!”

“I was in the area today due to my husband going to the medical center and getting his eyes dilated. Thus, it was possible that I may be the one driving home. Anyway...while he was at his appt., I decided to walk around the shopping center (FairLakes Promenade). I had seen Home Sense before but never got around to checking it out. Finally, got to do that today. At first glance, it looked like it was a furniture store. Yes, they have lots of furniture but a deeper look showed there was so much more. There are towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, household cleaning items, rugs and decorative items. My intention was just to look not buy. However, when I saw the food items, I realized that I needed a shopping cart. Things that caught my eye...imported pasta, pasta sauces, spices, sweets and a cleaning formulation for shower doors and mirrors. Truthfully, there were other items that attracted me but I exercised will power. For example, I saw a lovely vase but my sensible side said "we don't need another vase." There was artwork but sensible side said "We have enough of that and only so much wall space". When I went to check out, the cashier was friendly. I found out, when he tried to get me to sign up for a credit card, that they are part of a conglomerate that includes TJ Maxx. No, we don't need another credit card! My haul ended up costing $35 plus change. Once we were home, I showed my husband my haul. He asked what it cost and was pleasantly surprised. Aw, gee! I'm so proud of myself :D So, no regrets for paying Home Sense a visit!”

“It doesn’t seem they’re understaffed because many employees were just standing around taking to each other. They are out of stock of many things and the fabric is sloppily put on the shelves and not in the right places. When the employee was cutting my fabric, she wasn’t straightening it out before she cut, so it’s not an even cut. That laziness can mess up the length of fabric and could mess up someone’s sewing project. The young man at the cash register was nice though.It’s slightly better than the Woodbridge location, but still a messy store and it’s not even that big, so it shouldn’t be hard to keep tidy.”
