Once Upon A Child Colonial Heights is a store with a great variety of items, including toys, clothes, and everything for kids, though some note more girl than boy items. Customers find a lot of good quality items and awesome sales, with good deals sometimes available. The store is described as clean, even on huge sale days. Reviews highlight the seriously best customer service, with friendly, professional, and kind staff who go above and beyond, treat customers like family, and are very welcoming. However, some customers feel the store is picky about what they buy but sometimes sell stained or torn clothes. Many call it a favorite place, an amazing one-stop shop, and a heaven-sent gem for parents.
Love this place. Very reasonable prices on clothes and others. Stephen was a very sweet and polite lady. Ask us did we find everything ok and telling us about deals and Christmas deal. This is a wonderful place to shop for kids clothes.
