Squashapenny Junction is a very unique antique store and shopping experience in Doswell, Virginia. It is an old general store packed full of amazing vintage advertising and so many other great, unusual, and interesting pieces. The place is loaded with curiosities and is a treasure trove of antique finds and hidden treasures. There is a lot to see, with a sheer volume of stuff in the store and yard, so visitors can easily spend an hour or two exploring. It is a special and unique place, owned and operated by a visionary artist who is a wonderful, helpful, and nice person. The business now operates by appointment only on weekends, which allows for a great one-on-one experience. There is a simple $10 entry fee, which is refunded with a purchase of $10 or more. Visitors are advised to leave technology in the car. It is a highly recommended establishment for a fun find and a step into the past.
Went there fur my wife's bday. We knew to make an appointment, didn't mind leaving the phones behind to step back in time. And we knew to bring a flashlight. Owner was attentive, delightful, unobtrusive. Our one regret was forgetting to squash a penny under the passing trains.

We got extremely lucky and were let in without an appointment! She was one of the nicest people we’ve ever met and had such an amazing and unique collection of antiques! The prices were incredibly reasonable and some cheaper than we’d expect! She was so kind and the entire experience was wonderful!
