Dollar Car Rental - Washington Dc - Dulles International Airport

Car Rental
Hours: Dollar Car Rental at Washington Dulles International Airport offers affordable and flexible rental options, including family-friendly vehicles and premium choices from its Prestige Collection. Customers can save by prepaying their rental. The experience is generally efficient, with returns described as quick and accurate. While the rental process often works exactly as ordered, high demand in the DC area can sometimes lead to wait times, though staff work hard to manage the situation. The company operates under the same umbrella as Thrifty and Hertz. Some customers note important considerations. Renters must be aware of Virginia's mandatory Liability Insurance Supplement (LIS), an extra cost not always clearly stated during online booking. Additionally, the basic rental package may sometimes include electric vehicles, requiring an upgrade fee for those preferring a traditional car. Despite these occasional budgetary surprises or waits, the staff is frequently commended for being pleasant, patient, and providing great service, even in challenging circumstances. Instances of exceptional customer care, such as safeguarding lost items, contribute positively to the experience. Overall, satisfaction often depends on perspective and preparation, but many customers report a good experience and plan to rent from Dollar at IAD again.
