“Food City has a fabulous deli and bakery. I was there early on a Saturday morning and tables throughout the deli area were stacked high with delectable treats. I’ve never gotten anything from the deli that I didn’t like. And, they have clean restrooms!”

“For some reason our GPS directed us to take this route to reach our destination of APP state. It was a foggy, rainy, dark night. We passed this dollar general and decided to turn around and pick up some snacks. The cashier at the front was a literal blessing and divine intervention from God. She warned us about dead man’s curve and having to trek through the mountain. We turned around and stayed the night in Wytheville. Thank you so much, you may have saved our lives!”

“Typical Dollar General. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible with plenty of parking. Everything you need from toiletries, shirts, crossword puzzles, balloons or just a drink and a candy bar. Public bathroom, just ask for the key. Tight isles from all the stock. Staff may be busy and not at the check out, just grunt out or cough loudly and someone will come help.”
“When outside market is open during the season, a great place to shop and visit on Friday mornings. During winter months the market is on-line only. Also, can shop on-line during summer/fall when the outside market is open on Fridays. Nice variety of vendors.”
