“My first visit to this gas station was a pleasant surprise. I stopped by after leaving CVS with my fuel tank running on empty. The station, which I frequently pass by, was surprisingly empty at around 6 pm. Inside, the convenience store had a lovely scent, possibly from incense, and played good music. It was well-stocked, and the area around the gas pumps was well-maintained.The friendly gentleman behind the counter was helpful. I'm definitely returning to this hidden gem. The regular gas was priced at $3.49 per gallon. A great experience!”

“Incredibly kind, knowledgable, and helpful service. I took in a used car that I was considering buying to have a general inspection done. Immediately Paul, the mechanic, noticed several major issues with the engine and air bag systems. We ended up talking with him for nearly an hour, with him giving incredibly in depth and helpful advice about what to look for in used cars, reliable brands, and brands and systems to watch out for. I decided against buying the car I brought in, and when I went to pay Paul refused, saying that he didn't have to do anything. However, Paul's advice saved me from a likely very bad purchase. “I had some weird noise going on with my car, the guys here were so helpful and I so much appreciated the thorough notes they gave me for everything they checked as well as things for me to keep a lookout for in the future.There is a sign that says they’re understaffed, so it did seem to take longer than a more mainstream service center. And i don’t recommend planning to sit in their office while your car is being repaired.But not once did i experience any sales pressure and, again, the notes were the most thorough i’ve ever received so if you’re looking for a good, well-priced, honest mechanic, that’s what you’ll get here.”

However, the price of $3.75 for unleaded gas seemed excessively high, and I'm always mindful of fuel costs these days.So, I decided to utilize my Google search skills to find the nearest gas stations, and to my delight, a few options popped up in the area, complete with posted prices for regular fuel. This is an excellent feature that helps individuals like me make informed choices and save a few cents.Upon discovering this particular Shell station, I didn't hesitate to drive approximately 1.5 miles to take advantage of their price of $3.29 per gallon, saving me a significant amount compared to the more expensive options mentioned earlier. I greatly appreciate that Shell offered a competitive price without overcharging.Since it's a self-serve station, I believe it deserves a 5-star rating for providing affordable fuel options and allowing me to make a cost-effective choice. “I have never been to Costco Gas Station when it’s not busy, it’s a matter of how long the lines are. But I usually go when the store is open, so it might be less crowded before the store opens, or after the store closed. The prices are usually cheaper than anywhere else, and you won’t have to worry about getting carjacked or getting robbed. It’s hard to getting out of there fast. It’s always clean, well maintained, and well lit.”

“stopped by this Shell for the fist time to see if I could walk-in and get an emissions test. It was late in the afternoon and I wasn't sure they would have time or patience for a walk-in. Immediately I was greeted with a smile and accommodation. They asked me questions and took care of the care. The technical that brought the car out also asked me questions about the car and safety inspection, etc. just to make sure I was covered. He welcomed me to come back for any additional service. “Never have I given five stars to a gas station...until now. Yes, they station is new and it's very clean and it has a wide range of snacks, drinks, and food inside. But the real reason for the five star rating is Chit Chaat Cafe inside. A North Indian mother makes homemade Indian food for affordable prices and the food is soooooo good. The station also has a chai station and Indian drinks like Thums Up soda and mango lassi.”

“Prompt, great service, fully recommend! My car started making braking sounds on a Friday and it got worse over the weekend. It was hard to find someone who would look at it. Monday morning, I called around and finally spoke to Bao who graciously told me to bring it in. Receptionist was prompt, took my information and Bao came over to ask about the car. He drove the car around and came inside to talk to me. Told me right away what he thought the problem is, but he needed to look under the car to make sure. Luckily they had the parts, I had my car back in under 2 hours, fixed. Thankful for the prompt service. I'll be coming here from now on.”

I've gone to this service center a few times for gas and inspections and have always appreciated how clean and friendly everyone is-- but this week they earned me as a customer for life! On the way to drop my kids off at school, my air suspension went out and my car felt barely drive-able. I rolled into the shop with no appointment but worried my car was unsafe. Jim took a look at it right away and had it up on the lift within minutes. He knew right away what was going on and showed me pictures of the possible problems. I mentioned I had an extended warranty with my dealership but wasn't sure if it would be covered. Jim was able to get my car safe for the short term and encourage me to go to my dealership to have them check it out. The dealership came back with a 6k estimate and I called Jim who gave me a quote which was much cheaper but also gave me questions to ask the dealership. Because of his help, the dealership covered the work under the warranty. I don't know a lot about cars and feel it's an area I've been taken advantage of before. Jim wasn't there to make a quick buck-- but to support and find the best solution. He earned our trust and all our future business.”

“No matter where I live in VA, I’ll always go to this place for my inspection and emission. These guys deserve a lot more credit for their honesty and kindness. I realized this when I took one of my cars for inspection, and it had a bad windshield wipers. They said they’d change them for me, $30 for both and i agreed. Before I go to check out, they told me they were out of good wipers, and they had to put cheaper ones instead and charged me $20 for both. I would have never known what brand and quality of wipers they put on my car, and $10 is not much, BUT the fact that they told me about it meant a lot to me. There’s not a lot of shops like this left and they need more credit for it. Thanks again”

“One stop shop! While they have Shell gas (w/ethanol) diesel, and propane, the general store has just about everything else you could need. I use the general store to save me 15 minutes in either direction for paint brushes and rollers, smoker pellets, shovels, snacks, beer, wine, you name it. They also have a bunch of dog toys, who would have thought! Yes the fuel and store can be slightly more expensive but the staff is extremely friendly and you can't beat the convenience. Thanks guys!”
