“I stopped by the Shell gas station in Springfield specifically because it participates in the Upside program, which offers rewards and discounts. Overall, my experience was positive. The gas station was clean and well-maintained, and the attendant was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that one of the gas pumps was out of order, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the remaining pumps were functioning properly, and I was able to fill up quickly and easily. One note to keep in mind is that the gas station's location on a corner can make it a bit tricky to navigate, with three entrances to choose from. However, once you're inside, the station is easy to navigate, and the staff is happy to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, I would still recommend this Shell gas station to anyone in the area, especially if you're an Upside user.”

Inside the 7-11 (formerly an A-Plus) is an always-clean convenience store with great variety of fresh (e.g., hard boiled eggs, fresh sandwiches, pickles, fruit) and packaged snacks. They even have a grill inside this one where you can place your order at the machines, which makes it so easy to order and customize your food. My husband and I have enjoyed their breakfast and lunch sandwiches here. There's also an Amazon locker on the side.”

“I was recently traveling from Williamsburg to my home in Northeast PA with my daughter, and we were stuck in I-95 traffic when my front brake pads decided their services were no longer needed. Virginia Tire and Auto happened to be the first brake place that came up in a Google search. Melvin and the team were so, so great. Even though it was a busy Saturday, they squeezed me in so that I wouldn't be stranded in an unfamiliar town for two days. Melvin warned me up front that it might take awhile, but he promised they'd get it done. They took pictures of the brake damage and went over the entire repair process with me. The price they quoted was steep, sure, but it was actually lower than my dealership would have charged. They didn't try to upcharge me, and there were no hidden fees or surprises. The service DID take a long time; we were there for about 8 hours, and they ended up staying open an hour past closing to finish the car and get me back on the road. And isn't that what you want from your mechanic? Taking the extra time to do a thorough and safe job? Anyway, we made it home safely, and I'm so grateful to this place. The only downside is that I probably won't be able to take advantage of their very generous warranty on services.”
