“Driving on a normal day and our jeep was over heating, we were going to be stranded in Fredericksburg. All the shops were closed and saying Monday. Didn’t know what to do. We called Midas and we’re able to get in contact with Bobby the manager at Midas. They were fully booked and had no room till Monday, but Bobby made a phone call and was abled to get another mechanic from another store. Then diagnose the issue which was a cracked radiator, order the part and install before 4:30. While we waited Bobby was great to talk to with a great sense of humor. Great quality service and I will recommend and return when I need maintenance done with all my cars.”

“This has been long over due but really just wanted to give Altered Components a well deserved review. Many shops have been reluctant to take on some of the challenges that come with a modified Porsche Cayenne turbo on a 5 inch lift built to overland. However, the guys at Altered components were more than willing to take a look at my vehicle and perform the work. I had gotten my CV axle, upper control arm ball joints replaced and a few months ago an oil change.Josh is great in answering questions and has a wealth of knowledge with cars, especially VWs. Thankfully for me the older Cayenne model has some of the similarities of the Touareg. A perfectionist at his craft.Mike is the same, a true car enthusiast who is engaging and willing to help. There were a few times after install Mike came by to check on the vehicle for certain noises and concerns, only to determine it was something else.Modified cars you deal with modified issues lol. Looking forward to taking on future projects and maintenance with these guys.”

“I needed an oil and filter change and asked mechanic to check for a fluid leak in the front section of my car. Informed me of rusted out transmission lines were causing the leaks. Replaced lines and no further leakage. My car was fixed in a couple hours and no further issues. Could not ask for a better response, telbert”

“There are not enough stars on the scale to coincide with how elated I am with the level of service and overall satisfying experience I received on my first visit to Woodard!(This review is lengthy, but I wanted to show the huge difference between my experience with the dealer and Woodard Automotive.)I recently purchased a Certified Preowned (CPO) Land Rover (LR)... but had feelings of buyer's remorse -- especially after leaving Land Rover's service department.There was a rattling sound in my dashboard. After a 2-3 minute drive with a mechanic, and without popping the hood, LR told me that I would have to leave the vehicle because the "entire dashboard would have to be disassembled". The service adviser claimed that finding the cause of rattles is "tricky". He implied that it is so labor-intensive that it would take an unknown number of hours to "TRY to fix the problem..."; "there's no guarantee that it could be fixed...", and "the problem could even get worse... because you never know about rattles". (Imagine, purchasing a CPO vehicle, under warranty, but non-mechanical, non-electrical issues like "rattles" are not included in coverage.)As if their initial display of incompetence wasn't enough, the service adviser stopped me as I was getting into my vehicle and added - "...the other option is to wait until something worse happens in the dash... then Land Rover would cover it." I'm almost sure LR wouldn't take too kindly to that advice. (lol) And, why would he think I'd feel comfortable driving a vehicle that could potentially get worse, or leave me stranded somewhere -- primarily because I took the insane advice to ignore the rattle. (SMH) Their incompetence/fumbling blindly, hoping to get lucky and find the problem, would have cost me $246/hr.It took Woodard's owners, Andy, Lori, and a stethoscope (fondly called Dr. Andy) (smile) MINUTES to pinpoint the problem! I assume the mistake was probably made during the 165-point CPO inspection. (SMH)Needless to say, after leaving Woodard, I didn't even grant LR the courtesy of canceling my appointment. No call, no show is what they deserved.If Woodard accepts Land Rover's warranty and vice versa - I would breathe a sigh of relief, because I do NOT want to return to the dealer -- not even for repairs that are covered under the warranty.These days, it is virtually impossible to find a great master mechanic who can be trusted - in addition to a well-equipped facility to meet the demands of services needed to repair high-tech/late model vehicles. Woodard encompasses all of it!I thank God that I was led to Woodard's website. They are welcoming, personable, professional, and most of all competent and highly experienced! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!”

Very honest, respectful and very knowledgeable. It was a very nice change from the previous shop. Bobby had the parts brought in that day.The work was done right and on time. “Manuel's Auto saved our trip from NJ to FloridaWhen we arrived in Virginia I began to hear a noise coming from the drivers side front wheel which only got worseI knew we could not continue driving much further so I pulled over to google mechanics but saw most were closed or closing. No only was it a Saturday but it was the Saturday before July 4 holidayI saw Manuel's Auto was open until 3 so drove to them. I was just expecting to leave the truck there but was at most hoping for a quick diagnosis. They immediately jacked my truck up and diagnosed a bad wheel bearing.I new they were closed the following day because it was Sunday and July 4 was that Tuesday so I had no idea how long I'd be stuck thereThen I saw that one of the staff members was on the phone trying to find parts. After multiple calls he found them. Manuel then told his mechanics to start working on the truck!! I couldn't believe it!!! They were actually going to fix the truck right then even though they were closing soon. They stayed hours after closing and got the job done.My truck is running perfectly.I highly recommend Manual's Auto as they are courteous, friendly, reliable and knowledgeable and competent mechanics.If I lived in this area I would only use them.”

“Saved us when we were in a real bind. 7 hours into a 9 hour drive our car starts making noises. Call up and learn that they don’t have availability until the next day. Explained our situation and they had us in and out in 4 hours. Customer service was great, place is spacious and quiet, gave us updates and an excellent price. They were able to find that our tire had been put on incorrectly and fixed it for less than $60. They even took a look at the other tires while they had it without us even asking.”
“Brauning Automotive is excellent - went for an emissions and state inspection this am, and their tech's car broke down on the way to work. I was there when they opened, and, while there was an issue, had someone at my window within a minute of my arrival to let me know the situation and wait time. Their waiting room has super comfortable armchairs, so much so I fell asleep within a minute or two of sitting down. Front desk staff is remarkably pleasant. Been there multiple times now, and have never regretted it. Just good people.”
