“I've visited this adorable country store located right off Highway 81 near Troutville, Virginia many times. They have CLEAN gas pumps (believe it or not), and a terrific gift area, as well as the usual food, groceries and beverages. I've bought gifts for friends here for years thanks to the excellent variety of items procured by the owner. She always has some lovely serving pieces, placemats, napkins, cards, garden flags, and now, vintage kitchen, glassware, and gift pieces she's selected from antique stores. They have both seating indoors and on the porch. There's room to walk your dog and a special receptacle for poo bags. It's a place well worth stopping for.”

“Did I drive an hour just to get a sandwich and do some shopping? Yes and this place was worth it! I ordered the BBQ sandwich with apple butter BBQ sauce and while I waited browsed around the store for some shopping. There are tons of bulk goods, dry goods, different candies, pickles, sauces, anything you can think of. Lots of homemade sweet treats near the front too that I had to stop myself before I got carried away. Will definitely remember to make the stop when I drive through town just to stock up on the essentials”
