“Definitely full of antiques!! There were a lot of dishes and hutches with a smattering of books, records, and plenty of knick knacks. It was one level from what I could tell, although I did see that it said holiday decorations on the lower level. I didn't see any out, so maybe I missed the lower level? The gentleman working was nice and friendly.”
“I have been a patron of On Second Thought for over 5 years, and I have stumbled over incredible finds, both houseware and clothing. However, I have to express two critiques that have impacted my patronage. Firstly, I find the decision to not have a customer bathroom in the new location to be a significant issue. When your location is isolated and requires a car to access, a bathroom is a way to improve customers’ shopping experience. I have on numerous occasions had to cut shopping trips short or pass on items I was excited to buy as I needed to leave to go to the bathroom and wasn’t able to go back. Secondly, I have noted that almost every employee is dismissive and brusque. I have on many occasions felt as if they are resentful or angry at their customers and I have stopped consigning and instead just buy as I find the judgment I have experienced from those sorting through my items stressful. I love the offerings of your store, but the customer service and atmosphere elements could be improved.”
