We drove all the way out there tonight and got there one hour before closing on the dot only to be stopped at the front door. Had no idea about this.
I really like the pet wash area here and the staff seem friendly.

18396 Forest add Unit: H, ForestI live in Bedford so it is a bit of a drive to bring Buster to Pampered Pet but after trying several other groomers in the Lynchburg area, they are definitely the best I have found. Buster always looks great after his visit. The prices are reasonable and the complimentary nail and face trim between visits makes them an even greater value. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and kind.

18510 Forest Rd, Forestvery thankful for Dr. Miller and the staff. They helped me get through a very rough time when my dogs got exposed to mange. They have been very supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Miller was able to find out the issue without getting a lot of tests done. He is excellent about finding the root cause without having to run multiple expensive tests. He saved me money. The vet techs are sweet. I was having a hard time getting in and out of the door today with all my dogs. They were so kind and helped me! I am very sad Dr. Miller is retiring! But happy for him! Thanks again!

Ridgewood Animal Hospital: Lichiello Stephen DVM
1044 Corporate Park Dr, Forestnone of the other hospitals would take me in this week and told me that there would be at least a month in advance for an appointment. I called Ridgewood animal Hospital and they booked me right away. The receptionist was super sweet as well as the workers there. there is an area for cats that is a waiting room in an area for dogs so that is pretty nice. Very spacious as well. the workers as well as the people at the front desk were super sweet. i didn't have any problems. as well as the vet was very informative and helped me right away. gave me examples for my understanding. Thank you. 10/10 would come again

They have really good food onsite from Bunker 42. There is a huge, very kid-friendly outdoor space. Lots of weekly events, such as trivia, music bingo, and live music. The staff is fantastic and a lot of fun. We always have a great time here.

16129 Forest Rd, ForestI LOVE ROOKIE'S! Tragically, I live 2,443 miles away, but perhaps that's a good thing because I would be broke and my doctor would be pretty unhappy with my health. But truly, I love this place. The staff are always the best and the ice cream is such a delight. I made an ice cream cookie sandwich with triple chocolate and brown sugar cookies and a scoop of Crack. SO GOOD! You have to try this flavor. Kiersten, the employee working when we were there last, was so patient and answered all of my questions, allowing me plenty of time to decide my perfect flavor combo. And it's only like $5???? Incredible. LOVE IT HERE! Would 10000% recommend!! (P.S. Rookie's, if you're seeing this, please call me asap if you ever decide to open a SoCal location!)

1887 Graves Mill Rd, ForestThe ambiance has a nostalgic 80’s vibe, and I appreciated being able to have a real conversation without shouting—noise was minimal and comfortable. For my meal, I ordered the 6‑ounce sirloin steak cooked medium rare with a sweet potato. I added shrimp from the appetizer menu to top the steak and chose mixed vegetables as my side.
The entire meal was worth every dime. The flavors were fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the sweet potato with the brown sugar and butter was delicious. Even the bread with the butter was great. I truly felt I got my money’s worth, and I will definitely be returning.
I tried a margarita for the first time here. It was good, just a bit salty for my taste, so next time I’ll order it with no salt. For dessert, I had the fried ice cream, and the honey drizzle was amazing—next time it’s fried ice cream with honey all the way.
The restaurant was clean, the staff was attentive, and the manager checked on us, which I appreciated. Our server was excellent—she came by often, paid attention to our needs, and made the experience even better.
I’m giving a four‑star rating only because there was an order error that required us to wait for it to be corrected. That was the only issue I experienced. Besides that, everything else was great, and my first visit was truly a wonderful experience.

1332 Venture Dr Suite A, ForestDOG FRIENDLY..... In 2 places. Completely outside with a gazebo deal and an inside with one of those glass sunroom deals. Not sure I've seen a place with dual dog friendly spots.
I really really liked this place. Met some relatives here. This place has a wall full of awards as best place for MULTIPLE years running. It's sports bar-ish inside but way nicer. Has a neighborhood pub feel to it. If I lived anywhere close this place would be in regular rotation.
I got the pork schnitzel. Came with this incredible warm German potato salad which is one of my fave sides I've ever had. Sauerkraut was good. Schnitzel was perfect. Wish it had been larger but that's probably a personal problem. Also had a root beer on draft!
My dining partners had bratwurst platter and a burger. They all agreed it was excellent. They have a pretty extensive beer and cider list but it's one of those online deals and I just didn't have my phone but my relative was quite impressed.
We consider dessert but didn't get it but it was funnel cake, german chocolate cake and a cheesecake.
