“The Market at the Lake is my go to spot for gas, beer and snacks. The staff is always friendly and fast. They know immediately that I have the Market rewards card. Keep up the great work!”

“Stopped by Local Eats on the way to a local cemetery. I knew they sold a locally made tomato sauce that we wanted to try, and the selection of sandwiches included some vegan ones. The sandwich was a tasty wrap that I would definitely want to buy again. Helpful staff and lots of interesting produce and goods to look at while I waited for carryout.”
“Decent sized local grocery store conveniently located right outside the Turkeysag gate of Lake Monticello. Has pretty much anything you would need with a few exceptions: no caffeine free Pepsi (they do have diet caffeine free), no decaf dark roast coffee k-cups (they do have light roast decaf and half-caff), and a very limited supply of seltzer (2 or 3 varieties in 1 liter size). I'm caffeine free, so I noticed the lack of these items - most people wouldn't. They also don't have fresh or frozen bagels. What they do have is previously frozen and then thawed bagels that are wet and sticky and gross to touch, but taste fine toasted. They have a small ready-made hot food kiosk and in-store roasted chickens, either hot or cold.”
“This is a nice store, and it offers quite a variety of merchandise. It’s very convenient to Trice’s Lake, and I imagine a lot of the residents and visitors come to this store. However, I asked a worker at this store about what more there was to see in Cartersville VA, and I heard the worker pretty much say that was it. However, I found out while driving down the road about five minutes that there in fact was more to see somewhat further down the road in Cartersville.”
“They seem to have just about anything you might need. As a small County Store, they are amazing. Mr and Mrs Bryant care about the community they serve. They have donated the nose wires for over 100 masks! For me, and many others who shop there, they are an essential part of our lives.”
“Decent place to go when you need something quick and easy. A little overpriced on certain things, and sometimes food is disappointing like a bacon cheeseburger with a single slice of bacon. Usually really good about the food just skimpy on some things. It just depends who makes the food for that day.”
“There is a young man at the checkout counter who is the friendliest most respectful young man I have met in years! I’m sorry I don’t know his name but he absolutely shines as a wonderful customer service employee!! I highly recommend that he receive a promotion. Whatever he chooses to do in life , he will go far. Thank you for your kindness!!”
“Very clean. Not packed at all. Very chilled vibe in the store. And the employees are nice. Give respect , Get respect. Anybody reading this have a great day and remember your beautiful ❤️”
“This store is awesome! It is a community oriented store where staff and customers often know each other's names and kids. The customer service is outstanding as well...Jason is the best manager this store has ever had. He requires his staff to be pleasant, helpful, and friendly to customers. This community is without a grocery store closer than 12 miles to a Food Lion and 21 miles to the worst Walmart on earth. Most of the community would rather give Dollar General the business than waste time at Walmart with rotten food on the shelves and absolutely NO customer service. Thanks for being in our community!!!”
