“This is the kindest store out there. They consistently help with bagging groceries which a lot of stores don't do all the time. Employees are friendly and helpful plus the store is just the right size for shopping.”
“Tonya's Food Lion is great. It's always a good mix of groceries across the Spectrum. My inky suffocation is ask I think the deli should take what's left of the hot bar that day and put it out in the cold case, like all the other stores do, so we can grab a quick snack when we're done at the Y if we want to. But the staff is super and they're nice to people and it's a clean open nice place to shop. Is definitely in good hands since Mr Pritchett as well :)”
“This is the best store in Staunton. They have the best prices in the whole valley for vapes and carts because the owner is not greedy like the rest of these business owners ! And while you’re in there you can get whatever food the family needs and even snack up on some hunts brothers pizza or wings. 10/10 store I could spend all day on the corner of this store and not get bored.”
“I really love Aldi. Good stuff, good prices, and usually a chance to renew your faith in good people. Many folks pass the quarter for the cart to the next person. I always do, and so do others. The staff here are awesome too, always nice and helpful!”
“I wish this Food Lion was able to train other Food Lions how to run! Staff was personable, helpful and overall seemed to enjoy there jobs. Store was well stocked and very clean. Even the parking lot was maintained with shopping carts all being hauled inside and a gentleman sweeping up trash.”
“Tiny store, has the basic necessities. Snacks, drinks, beer, ice, drinks and gas. Prices suited for a convenience store. Not much parking. Doesn’t matter though since you’re in and out quickly. Only one pump. Attendant was friendly.”
“I've visited this place twice since I moved into college on Tuesday. Both times I had a very pleasant experience with the guy working behind the counter. The Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. My only complaint is they don't have any Pepsi products but I'll let that slide! Would recommend stopping in and grabbing something to drink or a snack to eat!”

“Don't ask questions. Get some chicken, get a breakfast sandwich. Everything is good. Everything. I've dreamed of this place and this food. My first visit I told the woman I might be back she said "oh you will." Reader, she was right. I went back every day for a whole week. A WEEK!!!! Best down home, hand battered, homemade food I've EVER had next to my grandma's cooking rest her soul. Those ladies are whipping up wonders in that kitchen.”

“Clean, produce fresh and clean, very friendly staff that talks to you instead of ignoring you. The stockers are always checking to see that you find everything you need. The store is well organized and always stocked. The cashiers are beyond the best at friendliness and they are very efficient. I love this place to shop better than any other store in Lexington!”

“Very good varieties in this brand supermarket. My wife and I were looking for finger food plates already set for Mother's Day. We got what we needed and didn't have to go anywhere else. I am glad they stay open until late so we don't miss out on anything for lunch tomorrow.Clean supermarket, good quality, super organized and fresh produce. We always come back!!!”

“I was just in this dollar general about an hour ago, I was so nervous as this was my first time in a store since October because I had developed agoraphobia. Valerie (Val) didn’t even know but treated me with so much kindness, it’s very clear she cares for her customers and her job. I’ve never had such a good experience in a dollar general. She deserves a raise! AND a promotion 100/10 service”
“Used to stop here and get a hot fresh BEC multiple times a week and it never disappointed. Today for the first time in over a year I stopped in and asked for one. By the time I walked to the drink cooler and back my sandwich was on the counter waiting for me. Struck me as a bit odd because I've always had to wait on my egg to cook. When getting to work I bite into my sandwich to the vile taste of mayo. Apparently now the sandwiches are basically premade and come loaded with mayonnaise on them. For me that's disgusting and wish I had known before paying for it just to toss in the garbage. I still rate the place 4 stars because it was clean, staff was friendly, and apologetic when I called them about it.”

“Trying to back into a door is a real PITA if you have a truck on either side of your door. Trying to drop a trailer on any drop line us a real PITA. Very tight and the yard jockeys are not up for helping you out much by letting you drop it and they put it in. The older lady in shipping is very nice and friendly. I’d give them a 5 if they didn’t have such a tight lot to work around in.”
“The store was extremely busy. The line was very long. But both staff working was doing a excellent job. Greta even took time to say hello and ask how I was doing all while constantly stocking the milk cooler.”
“Today was my first experience at this pharmacy. I switched because, if you’re familiar with other area pharmacies you would know that all of them are short staffed and you have to wait days to get scripts. I called before going to pick them up and was told that my scripts would be ready in an hour. I arrived, the line was long but that’s to be expected in this area. Staff was friendly, even came out to sanitize counter area after a mask wearing, presumably sick customer left. Definitely a pleasant experience. Scripts were actually ready! Thank you”
“This dollar general is my favorite in the surrounding area by far. It's clean, stocked, and the employees are always so nice to me and my kids. They always greet you when you walk in an me if they are busy when someone goes to check out there's always an employee coming to check you out within minutes. This is definitely my go to stop when I'm in fishersville. Thank y'all for your hard work”
“I really enjoy stopping at the Shell station on W Beverley St in Staunton! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the fuel pumps are clean and well-maintained, and the convenience store has everything I need for a quick stop. They keep the place tidy, and I’ve never had any issues here. Great service and a reliable place to fill up — highly recommend!”
“Miriam Jackson - The store was closed from the snow/ice storm. They closed Saturday night, 1/24/2026, and were closed Sunday 1/25, Monday 1/26, Tuesday 1/27, and Wednesday 1/28. They reopened Thursday 1/29. The parking lot was covered with very thick ice. They couldn’t even receive their Fresh truck.”
“Good Location, Well StockedThe only negative things I can think of is that the store is not organized sometimes, they have stock blocking aisles.Some of the Cashiers are rude to the customers. This last time we a wonderful young man to help us.”

“I stopped by and was greeted with a friendly welcome. Fast service, good cheeseburger, and the hot dogs are really flavorful, like a kielbasa or something, they're delicious. Nicely done. Sodas were less expensive than at other stores, and the owners were there and so nice. I'll be back, and if you read this review, you should stop by and give them a try. Really nice, cozy shop, with delicious food, and the pickled eggs I bought tasted just like my grandma's recipe. Nice memories, cute country store, with a little bit of everything, along with a nice deli / diner. Really cool.”
