“I stopped by and was greeted with a friendly welcome. Fast service, good cheeseburger, and the hot dogs are really flavorful, like a kielbasa or something, they're delicious. Nicely done. Sodas were less expensive than at other stores, and the owners were there and so nice. I'll be back, and if you read this review, you should stop by and give them a try. Really nice, cozy shop, with delicious food, and the pickled eggs I bought tasted just like my grandma's recipe. Nice memories, cute country store, with a little bit of everything, along with a nice deli / diner. Really cool.”
“Best place to shop in Harrisonburg. A great variety of veggies & fruit, good quality meat & seafood, and surprisingly good sushi for a supermarket (look for sushi sales on Wednesdays).My only complaint, and it's a pretty glaring one: the website is incredibly bad. It'll list a plethora of different items as "available in store", yet when you show up a few minutes later: they are nowhere to be seen. It's 2023, it's not that hard to come up with a competent POS system that deducts from stock with each purchase made. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's been burnt this way.That being said, it's still my favorite place to get groceries in town. Just don't get your hopes up if they have something listed as "available" online.”
“International Foods is great!!!! Every time we go in there we stock up on some of our favorite things to get, including: Tomatoes with Onion, Pickles, Mushroom, Desserts, and Breads. The prices are amazing, we also like trying the different drinks they!! It’s not to hard to find, the parking lot is a little small (just use caution when getting there and leaving).”

“This is not a normal Walmart but a "convenience store" model. So if you only need milk, bread and some aspirin stop here but beware the prices are higher than the normal Walmart. Just like a convenience store, hence the name.”
“Good for getting non ethanol 87 gas. Has the basics of a gas station store. Beer snacks soft drinks milk tobacco products lottery even CBD products. Parking lot could be better but not a big problem.”
“Been going here my whole life just about, since back when it was IGA. Bridgewater Foods is always a great place to shop, you can find things here you won't find at Walmart!”
“I'm sitting in Village Pizza eating a delicious breakfast sandwich at 6:30am and fixing an ice machine. Life is good and Village Market making my sandwiches makes it even better.”

“I don't know about the extra low prices, however the store is always well stocked and clean. The employees are extremely helpful, professional, and polite, especially the curly hair guy at the front (hope your wrist heals quickly). There are plenty of carts and handbaskets available every time we visit, and the parking lot is clean.”
“Great simple grocery store. Things are easy to find and with only enough options so that you do not get decision paralysis. There are no self-checkouts so I find that it is the quickest grocery store to get in and out of. There are normally enough cashiers during busy hours. No annoying weight machines, card readers, or receipt checkers. The generic brand of everything is always really cheap and reliable.”
“Really nice market specializing in Latin and South American foods. Also carry Puerto Rican coffee. Helps if you speak Spanish but not necessary. Cool store. Fresh produce and lots of things you can’t normally find here.”
“What a gem! We stumbled upon this wonderful store by accident & found the most delicious dates, lavash, baklava & more! Our family was so impressed by the kind, courteous & welcoming reception from the owner’s son- he noted us to taste numerous things & we found the quality of everything fantastic! Highly recommend & we can’t wait to return!”
“I wish this Food Lion was able to train other Food Lions how to run! Staff was personable, helpful and overall seemed to enjoy there jobs. Store was well stocked and very clean. Even the parking lot was maintained with shopping carts all being hauled inside and a gentleman sweeping up trash.”
“Great prices and less busy than the Walmart super center. No pick up option and the benefit is that you don't have to fight your way past the employees that are shopping for pick up orders. Easy to get in and out, plenty of registers open.”

“Ok ok, I do not usually rate grocery stores let alone a wally world. But for a random walmart, this walmart is like the oddly most diverse selection I've ever seen. Like, we are in Harrisonburg yall! How do they carry items like Oxtail, rambutans and kefir on the low low? Not even the costco down the road have those items. (But the costco in CA has those items so I know its not a costco issue). I'm not sure what this walmart is doing but you're doing something right.”
“Outstanding food and service! I got the turkey sandwich and it possibly was the best sandwich I’ve had in my life! Got a free espresso with my order and the blonde lady working there was SO nice and accommodating. The market is typically take out, but she noticed I was sitting down to eat and got me some water, napkins, and a plate! I’ve also had some of their desserts and they have all been really good.”
“Used to stop here and get a hot fresh BEC multiple times a week and it never disappointed. Today for the first time in over a year I stopped in and asked for one. By the time I walked to the drink cooler and back my sandwich was on the counter waiting for me. Struck me as a bit odd because I've always had to wait on my egg to cook. When getting to work I bite into my sandwich to the vile taste of mayo. Apparently now the sandwiches are basically premade and come loaded with mayonnaise on them. For me that's disgusting and wish I had known before paying for it just to toss in the garbage. I still rate the place 4 stars because it was clean, staff was friendly, and apologetic when I called them about it.”
“Most modern ALDIs I’ve seen. Steep driveway. Difficult to exit with left turn, no signal or turn lane. Great selection of weekly specials on Tuesday afternoon. Shelves meat and store is well stocked. Bright and clean. Self checkouts available which shorten the wait. Staff is very helpful. Bathroom clean.”

“Trying to back into a door is a real PITA if you have a truck on either side of your door. Trying to drop a trailer on any drop line us a real PITA. Very tight and the yard jockeys are not up for helping you out much by letting you drop it and they put it in. The older lady in shipping is very nice and friendly. I’d give them a 5 if they didn’t have such a tight lot to work around in.”

“My wife and I had dinner here tonight while spending an anniversary getaway at Massanutten. My wife had sushi (3 different rolls) I had the steak, shrimp and lobster hibachi. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was fantastic”
