“This safeway is the best one I've been to. I went there just to shop and learned that people who work here are the best. I had just moved to the area and stopped by to grab a few things. Absent-mindedly, I left my wallet in one of the carts. I called the grocery store and the manager answered using my name and said it was in the safe. I returned to the grocery store to find all the money and credit cards not a thing had been touched. When asked if I could tip them the manager asked for a good review. This is going to become a staple place for me to shop. Everyone in the store during shopping was helpful. Shout out to the manager and Isaiah.”

“I took my car here for service and met the owner Hamzah upon arrival. They don't take appointments when I called the day prior, but he said they should be able to take care of my scheduled service- oil change & tire balance/rotation. Hamzah was very honest with me & said I wouldn't need many unnecessary services done that was recommended by another local independent service shop that I visited in the past. He also recommended that I pay the extra $20-$30 for a full synthetic oil change vs a blended synthetic. When I picked up my car later in the afternoon; it drove better than it's ever driven in the 3 years and over 30K miles since I've owned it. My car is a manual (2015 Honda Civic) and it shifted extremely smooth after service at this shop. Finally, the tire balancing and rotation fixed the shaking issue that I've had for a year when driving above 75-80 mph. It appears that I lost a lug nut on one tire either in my recent travels or possibly during the service. Hamzah graciously offered to cover 1/2 the cost-despite the fact that it may have already been missing. What a gentlemen. In the end the pricing of all my service was at least 20-30% cheaper than when I usually take it to a commercial oil change place like Valvoline or Quaker State. I would highly recommend this shop based on the quality of service and also the integrity of the owner, mechanics and manager as well.”

“All all-around neighborhood grocery store that's clean and fresh with a great selection. Their seafood and fresh meat section has a great variety with even their own fry-aged meat. For a quick pick up of their pre-made food, they have a hot/cold food bar, pizza station, deli, and sushi station. Prices are a little higher than the average, but part of their rewards program you will find some super deals. Lastly, their beer and wine selection is better than the average grocery store with very comparable prices. Enjoy!”

“This is a much larger Giant than the one in my neighborhood. Interior is much more spacious with very wide aisles good for distancing. Big parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. This is also one of the main vaccine sites in SE. Came here twice when giving rides to people with vaccination appointments. The vaccine location in the bright "wellness space" room just inside the grocery store entrance. Appointments are well organized so never much of a line. After the vaccination there is a big area in front of the vaccination room with spaced apart chairs for people to sit on and wait out the required 15 minutes for safety before leaving.”

“I have tennis practice on Saturday mornings so it has been routine for me to stop by this location. Whether it's for Starbucks, wine (PG County needs to sell wine in grocery stores) or snacks. I may be saying her name incorrectly (please forgive me) but Joanne is a Sommelier, who has recommended quite a few great wines. She is personable and very friendly. So if you are looking for a great wine - I would recommend stopping by and speaking with her. I don't know her schedule but I know she is there on Saturdays! Thank you for continuously offering great recommendations and I look forward to seeing you next Saturday!”
