“On our way to our hotel, we stopped by Harris Teeter in Old Town Alexandria for alcohol. They have a great selection of beer, seltzer, and wine. We picked up a 6oz of Dank Little Things IPA!”

“I walked over here for lunch and it's situated about 4 blocks from my office. My initial thought was to purchase one of those prepared delis sandwiches. I've had their Italian and turkey 8" sub sandwiches from here before, and their food has always been delicious. At right around 12 noon they apparently had not yet prepared any sandwiches for the day. While I was around the deli section I did notice several prepared pizzas, and they looked too delicious to pass up today. Allen from the pizza section provided me with exceptional service today, and it was apparent that he was mighty proud of the pizzas that he prepared personally. He described the supreme pizza and it sounded like something that my stomach was waiting for! He went out of his way and heated up 2 of the supreme pizza slices and then boxed them up for me. I took them to my office, and I actually had not had pizza that delicious inquire some time!”

“Clean grocery store with great prices, if you're a member. My only "complaint" would be that their hot food bar looked a bit depressing. I wanted to pick something quick up for dinner, but the options at that time of night (6pm) were scarce, and looked a little gross.”

“5/31/21 The smell of baked goods are strong in this store. Not necessarily a bad thing, but when you are hungry, it can mess with your desire to only the things on your shopping list. Never knew this store existed until today. I have eaten at this shopping center, but never paid attention to the fact that it was there in the shopping center. Que Sera Sera and all that good stuff. This store looks like it has been there for a long time, but it looked good inside. Finding the personal shopping items like dinner for tonight, were easily found. Finding the right tropical cooler was easy too. We were in and out with the greatest of ease. Thanks to how organized this store is. Awesome.”

“I've read the reviews, our experience has not been the same. We come here, often. The staff are great, everyone is friendly, always super helpful and attentive. I'll give it to you, the prices are a little higher, it's a first world problem living in an affluent community. There is a shoppers 3miles down the road, which I've also been to and it's pretty good. It's worth paying a premium for an awesome convenience, which means the doors are open at 6-AM. 6-AM. We think it's worth it to be able to get what you want and sometimes what you need at 6-AM. Did I mention they open at 6-AM? I also think the staff who probably come in an hour or so before to make it happen, are pretty rad. We have always had great interactions and often find ourselves joking and laughing with them. We know their names, they know who we are and that is what makes this place great. Melissa and the crew are great! The quality is also good, there has rarely been a miss in the prepared foods department, the meat and produce have always been good. I love me some Trader Joe's, the same can be said for their produce sometimes. Everything isn't going to be perfect everywhere. Sure sometimes something is out of stock, it happens in a smaller store with a really popular item (who knew hoagie spread was it?), drive 2 miles to Belleview and the Bigway is right there, easy peasy. Parking is not really an issue either, if it's full, move up to the variety story and walk about 50 feet, you can do eeeeet. Five stars for the total experience”

“I received the most incredible customer service from Victoria, the pharmacy tech at the CVS Pharmacy at Lockheed Blvd. A month ago I was discharged from the hospital with pneumonia on a Sunday afternoon. The needed prescriptions for antibiotics and a blood thinner were sent electronically to this CVS (since their pharmacy was open until 10 PM on Sundays). When I arrived there to pick up my prescriptions I discovered that this CVS could NOT FILL ANY OF THEM since they had none of the drugs / antibiotics in stock. Victoria, the pharmacy tech, knew I was in dire need of the antibiotics at the bare minimum and diligently searched thru the CVS system to find other locations where I could fill my prescriptions.I left the CVS at Lockheed with a list of ALL 7 prescriptions, along with their prescription numbers, and which CVS could fill them. This made it possible for me to go to CVS at Duke & have the 3 critical prescriptions filled (2 antibiotics and a blood thinner), and return home.I can't thank Victoria enough for all of her efforts to help me on a very stressful day where I felt like I was on a treasure hunt to find my medicine. She's an invaluable employee; you just don't see that level of customer service very often these days. Thanks Victoria!”

“Shopping at this CVS was an enjoyable experience. It's spacious with all the usual CVS goods well stocked on the shelves. The self-check out line flowed smoothly and I even got $10 off at the end. The staff were very friendly and helpful!”

“Had to stop in while on vacation in Alexandria. My son had a swollen gland in his throat. I checked in online so when I arrived I was next up an only waited a few minutes. Cassidy was very thorough and kind. We got a strep test and a prescription for antibiotics and were back to our vacation within half an hour. Cassidy was professional and reassuring. First time at a Minute Clinic but will definitely return to one at home when necessary.”

“The staff in the pharmacy are the absolute best. They have never been anything but pleasant, even when they're having a very stressful day. You can tell how stressful a day they're having based upon the sheer volume of prescriptions waiting to be picked up.”

“One of the nicest Safeway's I've been to. It's almost on bar with your typical Harris Teeters. The only thing that's odd about it is that there is no place to put the carts, so if you're a decent human being you'll return it in front of the store. Sadly, a lot of people leave them scattered in the parking lot.”

“The shopping center this grocery store is located at is nice and feels new. The surrounding area isn't great but here felt very safe. Awesome grocery store as well! Huge selection and you can tell the products are all quality. This is my new H-E-B.”

“Walgreens in general is so much nicer compared to other big chain retail pharmacy stores. It's incredibly clean here, organized and the employees are super friendly. They also sell alcohol at this store location which is such a big change compared to other stores!”

“I use this pharmacy/store regularly and have for the last 3 years. before it was a Walgreens it was RiteAid but the staff remained the same. I have never waited longer than 5-10 minutes at the drive through and in store is even faster. If I drop off and wait it will be between 10-15 minutes usually. I've also received my regular flu vaccine at this location as well. Once we waited for over 15 minutes past our appointment time for and it was in 2020 when Covid jammed up everything due to lack of staff. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is relatively clean and organized well.”
