“Theres absolutely no way you can pass through Glade Springs, Virginia and not stop at the Spirit. While your there be sure to check out the deli. Their breakfast is the bomb!!! Those biscuits and gravy are a must have. The ladies there are fantastic, friendly and outgoing. If you have been to Glade Springs, Virginia and haven't stopped then your missing out big time! Definitely recommend this jewel!”
“This is my first gas company ive dealt with personally but i talked to others in the area during my search, the others had their weird complicated rules (have to have a gas furnace, water heater etc etc) so be careful and pay attention to the fine print.. I didnt want to deal with all that , I have gas logs ONLY and just needed a tank set and to call (but theres more, they have this awesome app!) when i needed more gas , thats exacty the cut and dried service you get with Ferrell Gas !
If you call their competitor(s) you'll know what im talkin about ..
And customer service is like calling a friend, theyre very nice and will talk ya thru concerns of a first time gas customer and there were plenty !

“Cleaned up since the last time. I mainly hold the "drivers" responsible when it gets trashed up unless the actual trash is overflowing, etc. Trash was emptied, clean window water for the windows, ok squeegees.”

“The cashiers and employees all seem to be trying their best. Corpo Shell needs to invest more in this location. Namely, to get the systems to work together, resolve issues with pump: unresponsive touchscreen, touchless payment module offline, sometimes locks the card in and you can't get it back out and have to wait several minutes, etc etc etc.
If Corporate reads this, please work on improving this and the Chilhowie location.
Thank you to the nice cashier woman who helped me get my card out of the pump today (11/21/25)
Small edit, it's been a couple of months, and I noticed I haven't had issues with paying w/ card at the pump anymore, so maybe they fixed something.
Another small edit- I saw today they have white kerosene, and I was able to get 15 gallons worth for my elderly friend. I greatly appreciate this. The Hunt's Brother's pizza inside is also nice, they keep them fresh and warm. I ate two big giant slices and that filled me up for $6.”
