“The elevator is sketchy. Our room was on the top floor so a lot of walking. Excellent breakfast options. The staff was friendly, especially Tina (housekeeper). A bit on the pricey side. Nice 5'6 pool”
“As others have said, not really cell signal at the Inn, however you can log into wifi and it's better! We loved the quiet environment all around the base and even enjoyed driving around in the evening and morning to see all the critters out (deer, squirrels, skunks, ground hogs, rabbits, etc). The room set up was like a mini apartment with a kitchenette as soon as you walk in the door and separate rooms for the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Made it nice with the kids, so they could watch tv while we got ready for bed, morning, etc.. The bed was comfy and the sofa also could turn into a bed. The front desk employees were super nice! I loved the coffee availability & the travel brochures in lobby also. Just wish that the restaurant was open on the weekends or there was some sort of snacks/ drinks available, since the NEX has weird hours and not a lot of things around that area. Overall was a great stay and my kids want to go back!”
“Under new management and a very American Heritage style motor lodge from the days of old. I understand the past negative posts but the new owners have been pouring money into upgrading the entire facility. Rooms are now modern but the feel of yesteryear for the outward appearance. If you want a pleasant trip down memory lane or experience travel the old fashioned way and still maintain a modern life style in room, then this place is the new must. It's a step back to less stressful times.Safety: Along a busy highway but a safe feeling in the room as well as outside.”
“My husband and I recently stayed for a relaxing weekend at Warner Hall and we couldn’t have asked for a more restorative escape. After weeks of nonstop work, we arrived ripe for a break—and left feeling completely renewed, our heads full of wonder at the history and charm of this place.
From the moment we arrived, hosts Fred and Christina set the tone: genuine, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear they aren’t just managers—they are custodians of the house and its legacy. Having owners so personally invested in the history and spirit of the property made the stay feel rare and meaningful.
Some of the little touches stood out beautifully:
• Coffee service delivered to our room each morning—fresh, thoughtful and comfortable.
• The bed: one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, complete with high-quality linens and that “ahhh” moment when you settle in.
• Breakfast: delightful, beautifully presented, with flavours and freshness that set us off right every morning.
• The dock at evening: we sipped champagne, watched the sun dip low over the water, and felt the world slow down. That moment alone was a highlight of the weekend.
We desperately needed a weekend away, and Warner Hall delivered—in ambiance, in comfort, in story. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and inspired.”
