“I think this is the best place I’ve gone outside of the actually dealer for repairs. Daniel is so nice and the service men are very thorough. I never feel like they will take advantage of me or do anything to my car that isn’t required. They always send pictures of what they fixed when the service is complete and a log of how your other parts are functioning and whether they need replacement. I will continue taking my car here. The only issue is there are no appointments. It’s first come first serve so you have to be there at 8, but it’s not a big deal for peace of mind.”

“Lena was so kind and accommodating. I just came in for an oil change & tire rotation during my lunch break and they provided an uber for me to get back to the office. When my car was ready a couple hours later, they sent me a ride back to the shop. There were some additional services they quoted me for, and Lena was so nice when I told her I didn't have the funds for any additional work right now. She gave me a coupon and assured me they'd beat any other shops' estimate. I will definitely return to this shop in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone! Great customer service!!”

“I can only comment on my experience with this Shell gas station, specifically regarding gas prices. I'm currently in Oakton, dogsitting, and initially attempted to fill up my tank on Chain Bridge Road. However, the price of $3.75 for unleaded gas seemed excessively high, and I'm always mindful of fuel costs these days.So, I decided to utilize my Google search skills to find the nearest gas stations, and to my delight, a few options popped up in the area, complete with posted prices for regular fuel. This is an excellent feature that helps individuals like me make informed choices and save a few cents.Upon discovering this particular Shell station, I didn't hesitate to drive approximately 1.5 miles to take advantage of their price of $3.29 per gallon, saving me a significant amount compared to the more expensive options mentioned earlier. I greatly appreciate that Shell offered a competitive price without overcharging.Since it's a self-serve station, I believe it deserves a 5-star rating for providing affordable fuel options and allowing me to make a cost-effective choice. “Went in earlier today for inspections/emissions and I was approved in under 15 minutes. They also topped off the air in one of my tires without me requesting. My car is new-ish so I can't assess how lenient they are for vehicles that are 50/50 on passing, but I certainly enjoyed myexperience here. Asgar, the owner, is the most honest and particular mechanic I have had the good fortune to meet in Alexandria, his prior location, and now situated at his place in Old Sleepy Hollow, 6519 Arlington Bvd 3001, Falls Church, VA 22042 Asgar can handle most repairs and will do so at a fair price unlike most dealerships who charge outrageous prices for the same brand items and labour.”

“Liberty gas Station garage in McLean is the only place I go to get work done on my cars. Phil the manager is friendly, fair, and honest. He values the community and his leadership shows in the professionalism if his staff. All the guys are kind and polite. As a lady, I am treated fairly and honestly, which is not always the case at other shops. One shop in town quoted me over $800 for break replacement. Phil and his crew got me fixed up for almost half of that. And they stand behind their work. This is a local jewel.”

“No discount on car wash if you purchase gas. Not the most expensive gas in the area and not the cheapest for regular 87 octane. One plus is that it does have a 7-11. The car wash was decent but a bit overpriced for what it was. For automatic car washes, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 since it got most of the dust off but really struggled getting the front of the car clean near the headlights. As far as the hood and sides it did an ok job. Deluxe car wash was the cheapest at $11. Also this is NOT a touch free car wash, so beware if you have paint you really care about but for older cars this was fine.”

I've gone to this service center a few times for gas and inspections and have always appreciated how clean and friendly everyone is-- but this week they earned me as a customer for life! On the way to drop my kids off at school, my air suspension went out and my car felt barely drive-able. I rolled into the shop with no appointment but worried my car was unsafe. Jim took a look at it right away and had it up on the lift within minutes. He knew right away what was going on and showed me pictures of the possible problems. I mentioned I had an extended warranty with my dealership but wasn't sure if it would be covered. Jim was able to get my car safe for the short term and encourage me to go to my dealership to have them check it out. The dealership came back with a 6k estimate and I called Jim who gave me a quote which was much cheaper but also gave me questions to ask the dealership. Because of his help, the dealership covered the work under the warranty. I don't know a lot about cars and feel it's an area I've been taken advantage of before. Jim wasn't there to make a quick buck-- but to support and find the best solution. He earned our trust and all our future business.”

“I have been going to this place for a few years. They are amazing people who try to give you the most accurate price up front and they will give you recommendations to which parts you need OEM and which ones you can cheap out a bit and get after market. To prevent overhead costs they prefer you bring the part you want so they will just charge you labour costs. That being said if you come early enough they don't mind putting an order for you from a supplier and fix up the car the same day if you don't have the part. If you want, you can even ship parts directly to them, and have it waiting for you when you get there. They have seriously helped me and my family out of a few binds, and when they couldn't help themselves, they pointed us in the right direction.”

“Gas was only $3.17 per gallon. They had nice clean bathrooms open to the public.Their competitor next door did not allow the public to use the bathrooms. Not a good practice due to time people spend on the roads, in traffic most of the time. I find it to be a horrible way to conduct business with a traveling, aging, parenting, medically challenged public.”

But the real reason for the five star rating is Chit Chaat Cafe inside. A North Indian mother makes homemade Indian food for affordable prices and the food is soooooo good. The station also has a chai station and Indian drinks like Thums Up soda and mango lassi.”
