“I love Trader Joe's but they should change their policy about not letting anyone through the doors after 8:59, especially since there are no stores open until 10p around here like there are in many other towns. When you need exactly 2 items and you know you'll be done way before all of the other shoppers who are allowed to finish at their leisure, it's irritating. I know, policies are policies but when did T. Joe's stop being the cool and laid back grocer?”
“Been shopping here for 12+ years. Love the fresh produce, bread, deli meat, cheese, many frozen items and sweets. What’s just as excellent as the food quality are the staff and their customer service. Yesterday, several staff said hi, recognized me, asked how we are. One joked with my son. It feels like a community not just a grocery store. So after such a nice visit (one of so many nice visits) I decided to give a 5 star review. Love the Reston Trader Joe’s!!”

It’s so nice to be able to get this stuff without the extra packaging and get exactly how much I need. Plus it has so many other amazing eco-friendly items! They offer a wide selection of produce, seafood, and Asian and Indian flavors, though it leans less towards American options—if that’s what you’re after, you might want to stick with Giant. This store is far superior to any Giant, Wegmans, or Whole Foods I’ve been to. The prices are unbeatable, and they have a fantastic range of Ayurvedic health products at incredibly low prices. “I shop here every 7-10 days to buy food for my family childcare home. I must include whole grain food on the menu at least once a day. I used to be able to buy Multigrain Cheerios here, but for some reason Aldi (at least this one in Gaithersburg) doesn't carry it anymore. Bummer. I also have a hard time finding the whole grain mini bagels and the WG brown rice that Aldi used to stock all the time. New manager who doesn't find the nutritious benefits from whole grain products?? But I do like the savings I get when shopping here. I feed 7 of us so I rarely have less than a full cart when checking out.”
