“The best little store in the area! Best Of British carries my most favorite candy bar on the planet-Cadbury Crunchie. British candy is just so much better in quality than ours. They sell several different candies, chocolates, teas, snacks & things for the house. We go to purchase Crunchies, candy bar called Flake. We buy Bisto, Oxo, & another favorite of ours is Birds custard. Especially before Christmas to put on our plum puddings. It’s a tiny store but they carry everything that we need. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, & welcoming. Even the customers are friendly. We have chatted many times or banter back & forth. Usually it’s about how young we are or chat about the items that we have in our hands or vise versa. We like to go a few times a year since it’s a little bit of a drive but well worth it. We would be absolutely devastated/lost if this store didn’t exist. If you’re reading the reviews trying to decide to go, I’m here to tell you that you must pop in. Go to browse at the very least. But I’m telling you that if you do purchase anything, you will not be disappointed.”

I took two vintage clocks to them and the clocks were cleaned and now they run fantastically. one was my mantle clock and it is so lovely to hear it chiming every 15 min. the other clock was a mini mantle alarm clock and it runs beautifully. i am so glad to have found this business. i shall be using them for any other clocks or watches that need repair or servicing.”
