“It's a charming market, the shopkeeper was friendly. Cool stuff, good snacks. I'm not the best cook, but they have great snacks too.My recommendation is a boba tea, and any of the sweets with red bean paste. Fun flavors you won't really find elsewhere. And hey, get to support a local market.”

“I grew up in New York City eating Black Pudding, we called it Blood Pudding. Getting the blood pudding was almost impossible in Hampton Roads. There was a British shop on Witchduck Road but closed years ago. I finally found Best of British in Hampton. Owners Mike and Jackie are the nicest people as well as the other young lady who works there! I feel their prices are very reasonable, online the cost was more and you have to pay shipping, which for foods requiring freezer packs is very expensive! I buy the Winston Blood Pudding and it is always excellent, even my grandson is liking it. Their assortment of candies and cookies bring back my childhood memories of shopping at a British import store in Queens New York. Thanks Mike and Jackie!”

“I shop at this Harris Teeter at least once a week, and it's overall fine. Store is clean and well stocked, safe for the area, and the fuel points are an excellent bonus. My biggest complaint is that this store relies way too much on self-checkout. It's a 50-50 chance whether or not they'll have a cashier manning a register no matter what time of the day it is. You're "more likely" to see them in the evening but that's not even a safe bet. You'd think that with the $600-800 alone that I spend a month in the store that they'd be able to staff at least one full time cashier, but it is what it is. Self-checkout is super helpful when you're buying milk, but when you see 5 customers buying full carts of groceries while several employees stand around then that's bad for optics.Ultimately, I prefer this store heavily over others in Hampton, but they need to get it together and quick before I explore other options.”

“Lidl has the best paper towels. I only come to Lidl to purchase the paper towels, 6 big rolls in a pack for about $11.59 and if you have the app you can save $3.00, try it out, and they last for awhile for me, check it out”

“I was picking up a cake for my daughter’s birthday today and the person at the deli/bakery offered assistance. They told me they could write in the cake if needed and ask what the occasion was. They turned a cake that seemed plain into something amazing! I wish I would have caught their name to add this review but I was so grateful for their help! ( I added the Stitch characters)”

“Not nearly as cheap or as crowded as it used to be. Not worth making g long trip for like it used to be. Before you would save a dollar or so per item now it's the same or more than your local grocery store.”

“Definitely the best place to get all your stuffs for that great meal in Hampton Roads area. The prices are relatively cheaper compared to similar stores around and the cashiers are so professional and helpful.”

“I got to give it to this location it is probably the most organized Dollar General I have been to. Very clean store. Admittedly, the outside is a bit run down. Also during my visit there was only one person running the register so it was a bit of a wait. However I would return here still!”

“Great store to get basics. It has a mix of some premium and foodlion brand. Have to admit the foodlion brand of most stuff taste similar to the premium foods. I like it because it's a store I can get I'm and out of. They do have some hardware items like house filters, candles, health and beauty. Reasonably priced items.”

“When this store first opened it was nice. They had a good manager there and the store was well stocked and clean. Not now. It looks like a yard sale blew up in there. Shelves are always empty”

“I’ve been thinking about stopping but never did for the last couple years we’ve been going to fish at Buckroe fishing pier. I’m kicking myself because the subs are off the charts. Although the atmosphere isn’t that great, the “to go” food made up for it. I ordered the onion rings, which I felt would be something from a freezer section, were great, homemade!! The grinder sub was very good. We also got the Philly cheesesteak, but the grinder was my favorite. The lady that made our food was super sweet and nice!! I’ve rode past this place so many times, saying I’ll try it the next time. Mad that I didn’t earlier, oh and they have bait if you’re going to the pier!! And the ice is way cheaper!! My new spot to stop!!❤️❤️”

“Well hello there! This Food Lion is located on Kecoughtan Road in Hampton, VA. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Food Lion? Meh." But let me tell you, this place is a game-changer. First, the location is unbeatable - it's just a quick stroll away from my humble abode. And once you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spotless store and some of the friendliest employees you'll ever encounter. They're always happy to lend a hand and answer any questions you may have. Now, let's get to the good stuff - the selections. This Food Lion is typically well-stocked, with everything you need and then some. And get this - they even have dedicated Asian and Hispanic sections so that you can find all your favorite goodies in one convenient spot. But wait, there's more! I highly recommend downloading the Food Lion app or checking out their website (foodlion.com) for even more deals and savings. And if you're ever in a pinch, give them a call at (757) 723-8802. The cherry on top? This location carries Primo Water, which is an absolute game-changer for me. I can confidently say that this Food Lion deserves a solid five-star rating in my book. So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to 3855 Kecoughtan Road and see for yourself!”

“Food Lion has some good deals if you have MVP card. They have a decent selection of items on the shelves but limited on the beef. At this store, you won't find good cuts of steak like rib eye. I have only seen filet mignon one time at the store in the last 20 years and then it was only one pack of two filets. You might catch a rib eye once in a blue moon but mostly what they have is cheaper cuts like flank and chuck.I seldom get produce at this store because it usually is not good quality and past its shelf life. I have seen moldy berries and brown lettuce at this store. Some of the other Food Lions have great produce and good selection but varies by store. Only produce I purchase at this store is broccoli and bananas. While I don't normally buy store brands due to quality, I find Food Lion brand items on par with big brand names. The prices are good. I used to shop at Harris Teeter, but their seem to go up every week now-a-days. Many of the same items I buy at Food Lion are 20% to 30% cheaper. That's a big difference and with MVP BOGO deals, you can find some real bargains. They even beat WM on a lot of the brand name grocery items.Aside from the produce and meats, this is a good place to shop and save some money.”
