“The best little store in the area! Best Of British carries my most favorite candy bar on the planet-Cadbury Crunchie. British candy is just so much better in quality than ours. They sell several different candies, chocolates, teas, snacks & things for the house. We go to purchase Crunchies, candy bar called Flake. We buy Bisto, Oxo, & another favorite of ours is Birds custard. Especially before Christmas to put on our plum puddings. It’s a tiny store but they carry everything that we need. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, & welcoming. Even the customers are friendly. We have chatted many times or banter back & forth. Usually it’s about how young we are or chat about the items that we have in our hands or vise versa. We like to go a few times a year since it’s a little bit of a drive but well worth it. We would be absolutely devastated/lost if this store didn’t exist. If you’re reading the reviews trying to decide to go, I’m here to tell you that you must pop in. Go to browse at the very least. But I’m telling you that if you do purchase anything, you will not be disappointed.”

“One of my favorite places to shop! They have great prices. Their house brand is as good as any major name brand. With many interesting international style foods. Awesome fresh baked goods. Produce that rivals some farmers markets. And this is consistent across all the Lidl stores they are clean! Well organized, and if you like something. It’s a better than average chance they will continue to have it each time you shop.”

“Langley is a military base commissary. It is very clean spacious and well stocked. The cashiers , baggers and other personnel are very helpful and polite. I enjoy shopping there”
“Easy to access from I-64 (it's on Power Plant Pkwy, after the Lowe's); fuel price is great, but it's FOR MEMBERS ONLY. Please have your BJ's Membership card ready. They do take cash at the booth, but having a debit/credit card for the pump makes it easier. Expect some waiting/lines.”

“I was picking up a cake for my daughter’s birthday today and the person at the deli/bakery offered assistance. They told me they could write in the cake if needed and ask what the occasion was. They turned a cake that seemed plain into something amazing! I wish I would have caught their name to add this review but I was so grateful for their help! ( I added the Stitch characters)”

“Best Food Lion in the area. The woman in the seafood section always does a great job. She goes above and beyond. And the bakery and deli folks do a good job too. I picked up a birthday cake today and they did a great job. And the lady that did it was very nice. All the employees do a good job. Cleanest food lion in the area too. Great Job.”
“Great store to get basics. It has a mix of some premium and foodlion brand. Have to admit the foodlion brand of most stuff taste similar to the premium foods. I like it because it's a store I can get I'm and out of. They do have some hardware items like house filters, candles, health and beauty. Reasonably priced items.”

“I’ve been thinking about stopping but never did for the last couple years we’ve been going to fish at Buckroe fishing pier. I’m kicking myself because the subs are off the charts. Although the atmosphere isn’t that great, the “to go” food made up for it. I ordered the onion rings, which I felt would be something from a freezer section, were great, homemade!! The grinder sub was very good. We also got the Philly cheesesteak, but the grinder was my favorite. The lady that made our food was super sweet and nice!! I’ve rode past this place so many times, saying I’ll try it the next time. Mad that I didn’t earlier, oh and they have bait if you’re going to the pier!! And the ice is way cheaper!! My new spot to stop!!❤️❤️”

“Best Dollar General in buckroe. 5 min before closing the two workers on duty welcome me in to get my melatonin. I believe they was tired and ready to close to get home to their family on this cold night in Hampton but they didn’t show it. They was helpful, had a sense of humor with good energy. I was pleased and thankful. I went to family dollar first across the street 8 minutes before 10 and they were closed. When they wasn’t supposed to be.
Dollar General is the best.”
“Very neat store. Bit rundown area near a closed ExxonMobil. Very kind, helpful, and fast service. The cashier was very friendly and listened to me and gave me all the lotto tickets I asked for. Great place to grab something to eat and drink. Very well stocked and organized store.”
“I visit here multiple times throughout the month for both our family and work purchases. My favorite thing about this location is the people! The staff here is amazing, friendly, and genuine, especially the drive-up pick up team. The store always appears clean. We love the coupons and rewards, although it can be a bit cumbersome.
The cons: the fresh produce can be questionable in quality. The parking lot can be a bit of a hassle due to the gambling place next door. I use online ordering regularly for work and have received expired or nearly expiring items. We must like unpopular items as we find things we love that are only temporary, apparently (particularly certain flavors of products regularly carried - a Raos pasta sauce, a specific salad blend, etc) - it's silly but notable that what seem like regular items aren't.
The biggest thing that keeps us coming back is the people/customer service, proximity and ease of shopping, and ability to order online and pick-up in store (so grateful as a parent with 2 littles).”

“This place is AMAZING! The selection is second to none, the staff are super kind and friendly (they do speak English but it can be little hard to understand them but they keep trying with patience until you understand ❤️), and they even have kitchen ware (from dining utensils to stock pots). They have lots of fresh produce, and an enormous selection of meats/fish! They have everything from silky chickens to ducks and everything in between. Their snack aisle has a huge selection (im in love with their seaweed snacks ? and spicy prawn crackers). Everything is reasonably priced too! They even sell sandwiches ? and i speak from experience when i say, they are delicious! -although im not sure what kind it was lol ( some type of pork sandwich)
If you’re a fan of asian foods/snacks, this place is an absolute must to visit! 10/10 best asian market around.”
