My wife is British and I came by to check it out. The owner is friendly and nice. This place has all kinds of drinks, food, snacks and souvenirs. A good place to get your British fix. I'll definitely comeback here again.”

“One of my favorite places to shop! They have great prices. Their house brand is as good as any major name brand. With many interesting international style foods. Awesome fresh baked goods. Produce that rivals some farmers markets. And this is consistent across all the Lidl stores they are clean! Well organized, and if you like something. It’s a better than average chance they will continue to have it each time you shop.”

“Keda was soo helpful. VERY knowledgeable about products fl sells. While she rang up my groceries, she noticed a Crack in the container. She went to the fresh salsa isle and not only picked another for me but upsell me 3 more. Buy 1 get 1. Keda you have made my shopping experience wonderful!!!”

“I was picking up a cake for my daughter’s birthday today and the person at the deli/bakery offered assistance. They told me they could write in the cake if needed and ask what the occasion was. They turned a cake that seemed plain into something amazing! I wish I would have caught their name to add this review but I was so grateful for their help! ( I added the Stitch characters)”

“I had a HUGE order ( total of 30 cases of soda and water) that i was picking up for a festival this weekend. I placed my order through the app for pickup and when i arrived, i was greeted warmly by employees and was instructed to pull to the front- because the cart everything was on could not fit through the side door. As i pulled up, i was greeted with 3 men with smiles on their faces that worked quickly in placing everything in my vehicle nice and neat. I was truly impressed. Thank you!!!!”
“Great store to get basics. It has a mix of some premium and foodlion brand. Have to admit the foodlion brand of most stuff taste similar to the premium foods. I like it because it's a store I can get I'm and out of. They do have some hardware items like house filters, candles, health and beauty. Reasonably priced items.”

“I’ve been thinking about stopping but never did for the last couple years we’ve been going to fish at Buckroe fishing pier. I’m kicking myself because the subs are off the charts. Although the atmosphere isn’t that great, the “to go” food made up for it. I ordered the onion rings, which I felt would be something from a freezer section, were great, homemade!! The grinder sub was very good. We also got the Philly cheesesteak, but the grinder was my favorite. The lady that made our food was super sweet and nice!! I’ve rode past this place so many times, saying I’ll try it the next time. Mad that I didn’t earlier, oh and they have bait if you’re going to the pier!! And the ice is way cheaper!! My new spot to stop!!❤️❤️”

“Best Dollar General in buckroe. 5 min before closing the two workers on duty welcome me in to get my melatonin. I believe they was tired and ready to close to get home to their family on this cold night in Hampton but they didn’t show it. They was helpful, had a sense of humor with good energy. I was pleased and thankful. I went to family dollar first across the street 8 minutes before 10 and they were closed. When they wasn’t supposed to be.

“I love this store! Not being a normal Wal-Mart shopper as the one in Norfolk is horrid and dirty, I decided to give this one a try. Best customer service I've seen yet, plus it is clean and associates will stop and assist. I use their internet shopping frequently and would give them 10 stars if I could.”
