“Huge parking lot for such a small lobby. Easy to park and navigate, accessible as well. Small interior with space for about 4 customers inside the service lobby. They still can provide everything you might need. Staff was extremely efficient and friendly. They do close for lunch, so check hours before going.”

“Went to this quaint little Post Office this morning. - I used to frequent the 1 in Ashland until I found out they actually had one in Doswell, VA ((Thank, God ?)). To say that I was relieved that I had found an alternative was an understatement. I dreaded my visits to the post office in Ashland so much! But my experience in Doswell today was very pleasant! I very much regret that I didn't get the name of the woman who took care of my certified mailing requests bc I was going to mention it here. She was so sweet and genuinely enjoyed her job it seemed. She mentioned she'd been @ that office for 20+ yrs & they're lucky to have her. Businesses need more like her. :o) I'll be going to this Post office from now on. Doswell and Ashland offices are like Night ?& Day ?Anyway....... Heads Upp! This Post Office is very smaallI.”

“Just moved to the area and I ship out A TON of packages. I first went to the USPS on Salder Place in Innsbrook and the man working there was overly nice to the man in front of my but as son as I got to the counter the entire attitude changed and he acted like I was a problem for him. I laughed in his face because of the obvious intentional behavior. I found the Mountain Road location and the woman at the front has been heplpful and pleasant every time I have gone in. Today she even used a translator app so she could help the man in front of me who didn't speak English to make sure she was able to get what he needed done correctly. Will only be using this post office because of her!”

“Mostly fine. Definitely always a long line / wait if you need the counter. Often the same two guys are here but even more often it's only the one. Presumably this post office suffers the same chronic understaffing as most, but that's the USA.”

“Gotta say, I’m mightily impressed with Keith. I’d sent a priority express overnight package, and the USPS online tracking was no good: it had the envelope arriving at a location other than the destination with a vague promise that it would then go “out for delivery”. But customer service admitted they didn’t know where it was, and that the tracking was unclear. I sent in a request for follow up through a main USPS number, not really expecting to every hear from them again. But then I got a remarkably detailed and clarifying voicemail message from Keith, explaining every nuance and saying that he’d personally checked and confirmed where it was (delivered). Seriously, he really made an effort to help. I’m grateful.”

“I have always had a good experience at this facility. Not usually crowded (at the right time of day), the clerks are all business and efficient. Large lobby with room to social distance. Large selection of products, including greeting cards, for sale.”

“I will make the drive to this post office even though there are 3 closer to me. Never had a bad experience or dealt with any unpleasantness here and no long lines. I don’t know his name but the fellow I usually deal with is always friendly and helpful.”
