“These guys are awesome! Hit something on the road and damage the underbody protection plate. Was in town for the day for orientation at JMU and needed a quick fix so I could get back home. They worked me into the schedule and got me taken care of in under 30 minutes. The price was very fair and they were quick and professional. If you’ve got a problem and you need a hand, these are your guys. They are also big soccer fans which is a plus in my book.”

“I felt I had to write this review to acknowledge the effort put into getting me back on the road. I came in for a single trailer tire that I noticed was balding badly, and the team at STTC inspected all my tires. They found another tire that was peeling. I was given a quote, and I couldn’t say no to the reasonable price. Today, I was able to get two new tires and was back on the road much sooner than I expected. 5 stars for good communication, fast service and friendly staffs.”

“Adam’s Tire Shop came to my rescue. We got a flat on Skyline Drive on a Saturday afternoon and had an impossible time getting towed out so I couldn’t even look for a tire shop until around 7:00 pm on a Saturday. Adam’s answered the phone right away, looked to see if he had a tire to fit my car, and installed it at 9:00 am on a Sunday. He only had a used one for me but checked it and made sure it would work. I was able to get home (500 miles) safely. Thank you! Highly recommend!”
“I went to Colony Tire to get the front end aligned on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD and the young man Zack that does the front end alignments does an excellent job, I have no complaints he has aligned several of my vehicles and Zack has been spot on with all of them keep up the good work bud you're doing an excellent job. If you're looking for someone to align your vehicle and do it the right way Zack at Colony Tire is the place to go. 👍”

“While traveling through, we only needed a patch on a leaky tire, but the big tire shop was going to be a long wait. We found Gilcar and ask if they could do it. Took our car in right away. After removing the tire he could see that it had major wear and that we needed a new tire. But he did not sell new tires, nor did he try to sell us a used one. In fact he did not charge us anything. We gave him something for taking the time to check it out. Very nice and helpful.”

“Now they are short staffed and you’ll be waiting 1-2 hours. However, I’ve had TWO appointments this week after a nail in one tire and then a bolt in another days later. They got me in same day for the bolt and I was beyond thankful. Both times resulted in patching as I was certain a replacement would be needed. Thankful we purchased our tires from them in the fall.”
“Hit some debris on 81 and lost a tire. We were 300+ miles from home and needed a tire. Called them up and they said bring it right in. They were able to get me an exact match to my tire in an hour and within 2 hours we were back on the road. The receptionist was super nice! Great service, fair price! Blessed to have a break down near them!”

The sweet ladies were so kind, and I enjoyed learning about the history of whitmers and looking at the old photos on the wall. I admired their beautiful plants, the ladies gave me some starters to take home!!!🩷 My husband laughed at me when I told him I had a great time getting tires put on our vehicle! 🤣😂”
“We stopped in here with a vehicle problem not related to tires. We were greeted with understanding and willingness to help. The owner himself took the time to help us out on a Saturday afternoon at almost closing time. We were in a pinch and he really helped us out. His whole crew was courteous and helpful. Thank you! “Stopped at the Harrisonburg location on my way to work to look for a new set of tires and see if they could fit me in . The guy at the counter was extremely helpful and offered some options as my set of tires were discontinued and I settled on some new ones but I didn’t have a lot of time to wait to get them installed .i said let’s do it tomorrow and before I could leave he said he would help the tech and get it done within an hour .
Incredibly, they got me out in under a half hour .
Great teamwork and excellent customer service.
