“After checking vacuum reviews and asking friends for vacuum recommendations I purchased and returned three: one from a box store and two on line. None of them were any good for one reason or another. I then found Red Vauums in VA (although I live in MD) . What a pleasure! I explained to Sharad, the knowledgeable owner, that I had a large home with beautiful hardwood floors, a couple area rugs and low to mid pile carpetting. He recommended a vacuum and I tried it at the store and also another one that he suggested. He clealy explained how to use both. He then allowed me to take the floor model of the one he first recommended home to try it and if I liked I could bring it back and he would give me a new one in the box. He carried the vacuum out to my car for me. I did like it! It is perfect for my needs. He recommended just the right one for my needs. I exchanged it for a new one today and he put it together for me and again carried it out to my car. I only wish I had gone to Red Vacuums in the first place. I suggest that you do so if you are in need of a vaccum.”
“Recently hit this location for some fencing, barbed wire, and a new he-shed. Steve/Stephen did a great job guiding me in the right direction with my needs for this project. “ADU is the best place to get appliances. You get personal service that the big stores never give you, and most of the prices are even better than the big box stores. I finally decided to try one more store and when I tell you I hit the jackpot with customer service, I'm not exaggerating. I have a hard time making decisions. I met Mark in flooring and he showed me the tile section. I needed tiles for my bathroom floor, wall, and backsplash. He walked me through the pros and cons, made recommendations, and helped me spend $1200. I was so relieved to have professional help. He was very knowledgeable about the products and professional. This man went above and beyond to assist to the very end. He loaded my car and ensured I had all the additional items I needed. I have never felt this happy about shopping ever! “I’m writing this in response to the review left by James Steel. With all due respect, it’s frustrating to see someone constantly complain about something as minor as music being played by store staff. These employees work long shifts and use music as a way to stay motivated and keep a positive atmosphere while doing their jobs.
As someone who also works in retail (at FedEx), I can say from experience that music makes a real difference during tough hours. It’s not unprofessional—it’s human. These are likely young workers just trying to get through their day. There’s no need to make their jobs harder with unnecessary complaints.
For the record, I’m not connected to Best Buy in any way—I’m just a regular customer. Every time I visit this location, I’m met with helpful, friendly service. I recently picked up an OLED TV, and the staff went out of their way to assist me with loading it into my car.
Let’s cut workers some slack and focus on what matters: good service and helpful support—which this store delivers every time.”

“I visited here to rent a larger tool that's not available at other, closer, Home Depots and Ryan went above and beyond to help make sure I had the best experience possible. He recommended considering a box truck with a built in, less steep ramp to take the 350+ lb tool rather than the pickup and detachable ramp with a much steeper incline that I had originally reserved. When he showed me the difference he was absolutely right and it made things so much easier on me when loading and unloading. Then he showed me how to secure it in the truck, educated me on how it worked, and got me on my way while making sure I had everything I needed. All while assisting his coworkers and a computer down. When I returned the machine and truck later the employees were surprised I'd been able to handle it so easily and I put that down to Ryan preparing me when he so easily could have just waved me on my way. I would absolutely rent from here again, especially with Ryan at the desk.”
