“Ace Vacuums (Fairfax store) is the place to find the expertise you need when buying a new vacuum. Raj steered me in the right direction for what we need (our house has mostly hardwood floors), told me the pros and cons of each type, explained all the features, demonstrated the product (Richard), and gave me a significant break on the retail price listed online. You will never get that kind of knowledge or attention if you shop at a Walmart or similar store! 5 stars for Ace Vacuums!!”
“Great experience as always! Got a gas cooktop and a drawer microwave this time — pricing was excellent, honestly hard to beat.
Not my first time buying from them, and they never disappoint. Super easy process, good service, and solid deals.

“Mike was great to work with. We had a dishwasher in mind but with it being out of stock and back ordered for a few weeks he showed us similar options at the same price point. “Very nice showroom. Staff is responsive & caring. Went there to possibly find a part for an older thermador oven. Didn't have it but referred to Trible's in Ashburn VA. Trible's didn't have the part either. Although good to know ABW is another appliance option.”
“I applaud the store manager Brad for his attention to detail and willingness to help a customer. I was struggling lifting a 4'×8' piece of plywood onto my cart for a few minutes until Brad walked by to offer me a hand. There were others at the register that probably saw me and didn't help (but that's another story). He helped me load the plywood onto the cart and even found me someone who would help me get it cut into my desired size. Unfortunately the cutting machine was down and I couldn't purchase the wood as a result. Brad then offerred to put the wood back. This is the type of customer service that is lacking at most retail stores, even at big chain home improvement stores. I truly appreciate that the store manager would take time out of his day to physically help me. Thank you again Brad!”

“I had a good experience working with Jason to get my dishwasher. He talked me through some of my options and potential upgrades without pushing me towards something I didn't need. He was also highly communicative throughout the process, through delivery and invoicing. Timelines were exact. The delivery contractors were highly professional and meticulous. Overall, I would work with ADU again.”
“I've made my second major appliance purchase here and felt it was time to leave a review. The prices just can't be beat by any other retail store. And they have excellent name brand and new appliances (all open box items....but who cares?). Yes, it is possible that you'll see an extra minor scuff or dent somewhere, but this doesn't really matter to me that much. You're getting a great price for the appliance you need. That's what it all comes down to. So far I've purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and a Frigidaire stand-up freezer from this place. And I'll be back whenever I need a new appliance.”
“I rented an equipment today from the Home Depot Tool Rental in Ashburn, and I had an excellent experience thanks to Aran. Even though he was clearly short-staffed and handling multiple customers, he still took the time to work with me one-on-one and made sure I fully understood everything.
Aran was extremely patient and thorough in explaining how to use the equipment, especially when it came to safety. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure I was comfortable and confident before leaving. That level of attention and care is rare, especially when someone is busy.
What really stood out was his professionalism and willingness to help despite the workload. He stayed calm, answered all my questions clearly, and made himself available if I needed help later. That kind of customer service makes a big difference.
Overall, this was a 5-star experience. Aran is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond for customers. I would absolutely recommend renting from this location because of him.”
“My 500 square foot family room carpet installation on 15 July 2024 was outstanding in every way! Christian and Maurice/Morris? were experienced, polished professionals with the old carpet/pad removal and new pad/carpet transition--meticulous clean up, too!
They were courteous, informative, and highly skilled with our many flooring power outlets, heat/A/C registers and step-down CUT-OUTS, and the required seam sealing for this large area remains absolutely invisible! They take pride in their work! I highly recommend Home Depot Fairfax for a pleasant carpet purchase experience from start to finish--no glitches! Thrilled!”
“If deciding between Merrifield and Reston, pick this location. Better parking, friendlier and more helpful staff.
Though, some of the products are weirdly priced. The largest (usually the cheapest) of the Brush Killer was notably higher prices than the 1 gallon option.”

“The Home Depot in Chantilly has been a great spot anytime we’ve needed something for the house, yard, or random weekend project that somehow turns into three trips. The store usually has a huge selection, and we can almost always find what we’re looking for without much trouble.
What stands out most is the customer service. Staff has been friendly, willing to point you in the right direction, and actually helpful when you’ve got questions instead of just waving toward an aisle. Overall, just a really dependable Home Depot with a good selection and a team that makes the experience easier.”
“Theresa helped us and she was amazing. She knows her product lines and is very helpful. She offers her opinions but she is pushy.
She spent a lot of time with me, asked great questions and was very patient.

“I visited here to rent a larger tool that's not available at other, closer, Home Depots and Ryan went above and beyond to help make sure I had the best experience possible. He recommended considering a box truck with a built in, less steep ramp to take the 350+ lb tool rather than the pickup and detachable ramp with a much steeper incline that I had originally reserved. When he showed me the difference he was absolutely right and it made things so much easier on me when loading and unloading. Then he showed me how to secure it in the truck, educated me on how it worked, and got me on my way while making sure I had everything I needed. All while assisting his coworkers and a computer down. When I returned the machine and truck later the employees were surprised I'd been able to handle it so easily and I put that down to Ryan preparing me when he so easily could have just waved me on my way. I would absolutely rent from here again, especially with Ryan at the desk.”

“I’m giving a 5 star review for the customer service we received from Marcus. Marcus helped us out with obtaining a stacking kit for our washer and dryer. Our appliances were delivered but could not be installed due to a missing stacking kit that was not sold to us at purchasing time. The third party delivery crew was not professional at all. We were very frustrated at first but luckily Marcus went out of his way to help us out. We truly appreciate his help and his effort to make the situation better.”
