“I have always been pleased with the service that is offered by Auto Scandia. Everything is always explained in detailed and the rates are very reasonable. I have been a client for 10+years with my past vehicle being a BMW 535i and now my present vehicle being a Tesla Model Y. I feel very confident in whatever vehicle I have, Auto Scandia will take good care of me.”

“We rented an RV from Ace for a music festival and I simply can't explain how smooth the experience was. Customer service was out of this world, from phone calls to texting to in-person pick up and drop off. The “how to” and “walk through” videos on the website were extremely helpful to new RV users. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!”

“Found my go-to shop, paid attention to the amount of positive reviews left by women and was not disappointed. No pushy sales or over the top/excessive repair recommendations. No hidden shop fees or taxes not discussed prior, only downside is shuttle may not be available but minor inconvenience. Overall, perfect recipe for repeat biz cause cars these days will fail at some point so they'll be seeing me again.”

“Take it or leave it approach to things without any upselling. I would blindly take it. Best place to get your car serviced if you are looking for convenience and not bargain hunting across shops.”

“I had our older Ford F150 for inspection and they found several safety items required to pass and we’re very professional, explaining the items and providing a thorough quote on how to repair and assist me to pass inspection. I recommend them to anyone.”

“For years I took my Mercedes to the dealership for servicing, etc., but I started finding myself driving out of the dealer’s shop with problems I hadn’t driven in with. After one visit, I hadn’t actually made it off the dealer’s lot before the engine light came on. They had “forgotten” to do something. Then I found Daniel and his team at the Elden Street Sunoco in Herndon, and I’ve put my car in their care for several years now. Daniel and his team can do everything and they do it properly, on time and at substantially less than I was paying for similar service at the dealership. I recommend Daniel and his team highly.”

“I would like to sincerely thank Jake, Randy, and Ted for a job well done. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I brought my 2013 Range Rover to them because of transmission problems. However, throughout the entire process, they kept me well informed with several phone calls explaining the problem, the cost of the repairs, and when I could expect my vehicle to be ready. When I received my Range Rover back, I was extremely pleased. It runs like it is brand new again! Their communication, professionalism, and quality of work were outstanding. Thank you, Jake, Randy, and Ted, for your excellent service and for a job very well done. I truly appreciate the care you took with my vehicle and would highly recommend your service to others. God bless. Sincerely, Dr. David S. Torain II”

“Dranesville Auto makes supporting a local family-owned business easy. I had my dealership give me a list of things that needed work (past warranty) ... I got a second opinion at Dranesville. Out of the list of many things, I had one done (for much less) and one modified at Dranesville. Saved me thousands of dollars in unnessary repairs and my car has been just fine. The people are friendly, honest, and trustworthy. Sometimes it's a wait to get an appointment but it's worth it! If you are able, I would definitely try them out.”

“Had a great experience with this car service center and wanted to share. After my car sat at a Honda service center for an entire week, I was told I’d need to replace multiple parts costing thousands of dollars. I decided to get a second opinion here—and I’m really glad I did. They quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained what was actually going on, and fixed it for just a couple hundred bucks. No unnecessary upselling, just honest and transparent service. These guys are truly trustworthy and reliable. It’s rare to find mechanics who take the time to explain things and prioritize the right fix over the expensive one. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for honest car service!”

They've done a couple of my state inspections, some repair work, and routine oil changes and regular maintenance on several of my cars and the prices are always incredibly fair and the services great and quick. Definitely recommend you give them a call to get a quote and if they are competitive I would definitely give them a try!”

“This was my first time going here and I was satisfied with the service. They did a great job cleaning my car. They have a good flow and system for how they get to each car that’s in the line. It was very busy so the wait time was a bit longer than expected but they let me know from the beginning before I laid to make sure I was okay with the wait. I was satisfied with the outcome.”

“Updated September 2026:) I’ve been bringing my car to Virginia Tire & Auto on Elden Street since June 2025 for everything from tires to routine preventative maintenance, and I’ve consistently had a great experience with this location. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Melissa, Roger and Cody, and I wanted to take the time to recognize all three of them. Cody was friendly and helpful when I initially called to schedule my appointment, and Roger was wonderful about keeping me informed throughout the service process. Every interaction was pleasant, professional and easy. Melissa, in particular, was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and attentive, and genuinely made me feel that both my car and my experience as a customer mattered. That level of customer service is something I really appreciate and remember. Having a place you can feel comfortable taking your car is important. I appreciate being able to ask questions, understand what my car needs, and feel confident in the service I’m receiving without the experience feeling intimidating or impersonal.”
