My two cats get stressed out by the car ride but after all the love and treats and petting from the staff and vet techs they are ready to have their annual exams and vaccines, no problem.
They are absolutely spoiled with toys and catnip by the end of the appointment and I love that the staff gets me checked out in the exam room so I dont have to juggle payment with two carriers and the stress of whatever other patients might be coming and goin in the waiting area.”
“Today was my first experience with VCA Animal Hospital and what a pleasant surprise. From the reception desk to Dr. Thigpen it was amazing. I was greeted so nicely and offered beverages and snacks while I waited. Once taken back to an exceptionally clean exam room, Milo my cat was treated so gently by Dr. Thigpen. She was thorough and kind. Milo received a microchip and it was done so quickly he didn’t even feel it. In conclusion I was extremely impressed by the whole place.”
“I've been taking my elder cat here for over a year, and both Vets have been personable and knowledgeable. Love the front desk staff and the Vet Techs - I swear everytime I see them, they're covered in my kitty's fur from giving him love.
And most importantly - during a very scary medical emergency for my kitty, they A) caught the problem as it started, B) provided me appropriate care options immediately and C) supported his recovery completely. I really couldn't have asked for more.
The pricing is the same as any other Banfield location. The staff, on the other hand, are excellent.”

“We have been taking our dog and cat to Dominion Animal Hospital for years. The staff here (everyone- front desk, techs, vets) are all AMAZING and look out for the families that come to their practice. Once I accidentally booked an annual visit several months early and they called to let me know so I didn’t pay for a visit we didn’t need.
We also recently had an issue filling a prescription at Sam’s Club that they went above and beyond to help fix. We have always felt supported and welcomed at the practice. The vets and techs are great at explaining options so we can make decisions on labs, meds, etc.
The PawPlans are a big help and they make it easy to schedule appointments, too.
