“I cannot say enough good things about our first experience at Just Cats Clinic. Cosmic is a shy cat, so bringing him to a new veterinarian was something I had been genuinely worried about. The team understood that immediately and got us into a private room when he started panting in the waiting room to help minimize his stress.

Zach, our veterinary technician, was exceptional. He spoke to Cosmic in a whisper, moved slowly, and handled him with such gentleness and kindness. I honestly think Zach’s approach set the stage for the rest of the visit. It was obvious that he truly understood how to work with a frightened cat, and his calm presence made an enormous difference for both Cosmic and me.

Dr. Laura Golden was equally wonderful. This visit was such a contrast from our experiences elsewhere. Rather than immediately prescribing another round of antibiotics, she read his entire chart and listened carefully to Cosmic’s history, examined him thoroughly, and recommended specific testing to better understand the cause of his chronic symptoms. She was intentional in her approach and very clear about what she was testing, what we know so far, and what the next steps will be once the results return. I left the appointment feeling genuinely hopeful that my gentle little man will feel better soon.

Everyone was patient, compassionate, and reassuring. Despite how anxious Cosmic was initially, he came home walking normally, ate immediately, and seemed completely like himself. That says so much about the care he received. I am incredibly grateful to Zach, Dr. Golden, Charles, and the entire Just Cats team. They truly understand cats, and for that, I’m sincerely grateful.”

“I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Banfield Pet Hospital in Reston. Last weekend, our dog suddenly developed an anal gland abscess that ruptured while we were out on a walk. It was bleeding, and we were extremely worried.

We first went to Banfield in Vienna, but unfortunately they were too busy to see him that day. We were given an appointment for the following day, but before that appointment they called to let us know they were short-staffed and recommended that we take him to another Banfield location or an emergency hospital instead.

We called Banfield Reston, and from the very first phone call, Alexis S. was incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring. Even though they were busy, she took the time to find an appointment for us and encouraged us to come in as soon as possible. Her kindness immediately helped ease our stress.

When we arrived, everyone was welcoming, and Dr. Robin Tucker was absolutely wonderful. She carefully examined our dog, quickly diagnosed the anal gland abscess, and took the time to explain exactly what had happened, what treatment he needed, how to care for him at home, and even what diet would help with his recovery. She was patient, compassionate, and made sure all of our questions were answered.

Throughout the visit, Alexis S. continued to be incredibly supportive and caring. We were very anxious seeing our dog in pain, and both Dr. Robin Tucker and Alexis S. treated not only our dog with exceptional care but also treated us with genuine kindness and empathy.

After our disappointing experience elsewhere, the team at Banfield Reston completely restored our confidence. Thanks to Dr. Robin Tucker and Alexis S., our dog received the care he needed, and I’m happy to say he’s doing so much better now.
