“Discovered this place while on a Thanksgiving walk. Amazing fresh corn tortillas which we couldn’t resist even though our Turkey was already roasting. Stocked up on all sorts of dried chiles and Mexican sundries. Great store!”
“Good selection of local and organic produce, meats, dairies, etc. they also had a fair selection of fresh made products (pasta salads, olive or broccoli salads, etc). Staff was friendly and helpful. Stock on items seemed up to date as well. There were discounted produce and products as well which I found interesting. Would love to see a bigger self fill & weigh product area.”
“Iv only gone here a couple of times and each time iv gone to Abis Grocery, the staff is friendly and invites me to pick anything from their fresh pastries and breads.
I have a hard time identifying each bread and pastries. I never know what is more sweet, more dry or less dry. The staff is nice enough to answer my questions. But i usually I just pick what looks delicious and usually I'm happy with what I picked. Everything is great to eat with a cup of coffee or tea.”

“The Cashiers Are Friendly and Nice. They Are Great About Pointing You In The Right Direction When You Need To Find Something. The Prices Are Little High for Quite A Lot Of The Items But The Selection Is Good. There Have Been Issues With The Fresh Produce Being Spoiled, Moldy Or Rotten (Not Usually An Issue). It's Very Convenient If You Don't Want To Travel All The Way Into Harrisonburg. They Sell Alot Of Local Items As Well. I Would Recommend If You Need To Get A Few Items But Not A Whole Shopping Trip. The Fresh Food They Sell is Absolutely Delicious And They Try To Switch It Up Every Day. All In All A Store That Deserves A Visit.”

“i believe their name is Gabriel (platinum hair, real tall) but every single time i’ve ever come in they’ve always been a literal angel. i mean the entire staff here is absolutely excellent (especially cashier Rebecca and Cam in deli!!) but Gabriel especially stands out because of the kindest. i believe G has a leadership role as well, i say this cause i’ve seen them ask others to do specific tasks and it almost seems like their co workers jump to do things for them. there’s alot of respect and love and you can see. employees and staff like this need to be rewarded :)”

This is the 1 food lion I go to, but I can't give 5 stars because their produce (which we use A LOT of, due to having bunnies), is often lacking, or the produce itself like romaine lettuce looks wilted & nasty. This then forces us to have to go to another store to find good produce that's worth buying especially with the prices being so high bc of the horrible economy Joe Biden has created.”

“Overnight parking available in gravel lot they have a guard shack but no one was in it around 11am here for a drop and hook and it was ready a day early when checking in you can park first them call the number in the picture according to what you are there for i called and all they just told me to come in to the office by door 2 (must be buzzed in) to check in i parked in the gravel lot where app the empty trailers were and walked up gave my 250 # signed my paperwork and walked back dropped my trailer and left very fast and field friendly if you need a washout there is a mobile one that will come on site company and number is in the picture it is right maneuvering if trailers are parked across the docks see picture for example”
“Trying to back into a door is a real PITA if you have a truck on either side of your door. Trying to drop a trailer on any drop line us a real PITA. Very tight and the yard jockeys are not up for helping you out much by letting you drop it and they put it in. The older lady in shipping is very nice and friendly. I’d give them a 5 if they didn’t have such a tight lot to work around in.”
