“Great place to stay near Fort Lee base. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Bring something to drown out noise - you can hear other above you and in the hallway. Will stay again!”

“I came to Candlewood Suites with a husband newly diagnosed with terminal cancer and a 10 year old cat. Cheryl, Jasmine and every member of the staff here have gone above and beyond to make this nightmare of a time bearable. When you are away from home and need angels in human form, you will find them here. If this was just a normal vacation, I would recommend highly. The rooms are clean with good sound proofing, nice appliances and comfortable bedding. Within walking distance, there are plenty of fast food, as well as sit down restaurants, a food store, and department store.”
“Hey, I got lost in Hopewell Virginia in the middle of the night trying to find this hotel. I didn’t know the city and I was tired. However I called the hotel and Donna at the desk was with me for 15 minutes giving me step-by-step directions. Thank you, Donna! You went above and beyond!!”
“Got a room door would not lock had to switch Got another room went in someone in bed! Excused myself. Got another room it was fine. Had to check out early due to car issues and didn't want to stay second night, home bound I went.
It is a nice Hotel over all!”
“Ms. Mary the general manager is out of this world. She is amazing and really cares about your well being. She goes above behind your needs to make sure, you feel at home.
And her stuff is also fantastic, Monica was on point when we checked in.
Highly recommend this hotel”
“The customer service was top notch. Wonderful staff!! Breakfast was good and had lots of options.
The only downfall is that the pool has been out of service for years. They shouldn't put there is a pool if its not usable by paying guests.
Also, just a tip to maybe put a trash can with ashtray by side door so that people dont throw trash or cigarette butts around the picnic table and parking lot.”
