“Dollar General has been improving all the locations. If Wawa and the home section of Walmart had a baby, this location would be it. The store is really trying to be more than just a place to grab chips and soda. I prefer the location by Smith Mt Lake Parkway (bigger store). This location is small and the aisles get cramped when new inventory is being put away. The store is near Food Lion and a tint strip mall. The employees are always friendly.”

“RV friendly and accessible. Very clean from the parking lot to the restroom. Had them make us two chicken sandwiches fixed our way, and it was delicious. We shared a box of 10 steak fries. It was a box due to size, and they don't pack them over your sandwiches. The store owner should be proud of the team that takes pride in their store. We were in and out with hot food and a fill-up in about 15 min.”
“Corner Service station. Has some necessities, in case you can't get to a retail store. Privately-owned. They have a small kitchen and cook some foods to purchase. The have gas pumps”

“I visit this store on occasion every week and today I admired the patience one of the workers had. A customer asked to clean something in the back,an area only employees are permitted to enter,and after being told no he acted like a complete and belligerent brat. The worker remained calm and composed and I really admire her being able to hold her tongue and remain professional. This worker has been nothing but nice in the past and always friendly and helpful. It really pisses me off that her and/or other workers would have to endure this type of treatment.”
“This one just opened and I went there today... it is really nice.. lots of stuff .. not messy at all.. it has a $1 aisle.. even raw meats n veggies.. a lil high but it's ok for convenience didn't have to drive up to FoodLion.. great location.. DG Market welcome to the neighborhood!!”
“Happy to have this DG at this spot works well for my neighborhood! The lady’s that work there are all supper helpful and sweet! The only problem is you may have to wait on service sometimes being there may only be one person working the store, but that’s no big deal”
“Best store in the area. Everything of what I want is available here. Friendly and polite staffs. Cheap gas. Recently took over by the New owner and inside is newly done with excellent changes. They just started additional kitchen Menu (fried chickens, Macaroni & cheese, corn dogs, and so on). They are fresh and delicious.”

“I came here hoping to find something fresh: produce, dairy, meat…anything. I was pleasantly surprised all around by the store selections, cleanliness and very friendly staff. My wife and I rented a place at Smith Mountain a lake and I of course forgot a key grocery item, so off I ventured to find eggs and find them and more, I did. This is a perfect community store and good for renters in need of a thing or two. You literally can get the fresh items lacking at other common monetarily named shopping stores.”
