I didn't see a public air pump but the mechanic asked me if I needed air in my tires. I said yes and he told me to pull up to the garage bay and he checked all of my tires for me and put air in them. “Being a member of Costco, I always forget about the discounted gas station that comes with the membership. I think that the locations are kind of far and that I use them when I’m close to one. I was in the area of Potomac Mills Mall, and I was like there’s a Costco gas station there. I made a beeline for it. The area is always clean, and the pumps are always serviceable. After waiting my turn in line, I went to the gas pump. The best way to get your membership authorization QR Code is by using the Costco app. It made getting gas SO much easier, faster and without bother the gas station attendant. The gas prices were approximately $0.30-0.25 cheaper than the gas stations around my house. I was SO glad that I could use my gas station benefits, and will continue to be a member of Costco. Total rating this experience 10/10, thanks.”

“I've been in the area for over 20 years and this shop is THE ONLY place I trust to work on my cars. Mustapha and crew are very knowledgeable and professional. They advise on what needs to be fixed now, what can wait to be fixed (e.g. brakes can last another 6 months), and what doesn't matter (waste of money to fix). I had replaced the starter on my Subaru at another shop, and was still having issues with starting the car and needed another starter. Bob (a master mechanic) said that shouldn't be, and He was the only mechanic who uncovered that the wire used to connect the starter was the wrong gauge, therefore not enough current was flowing through it resulting in occasional non-starts. Now, that's the only place I take my cars to get them fixed right! Prices are also very reasonable. Other places recommend additional fixes to maximize their profits, but Pinecrest Shell only recommends what's needed. They have conscience and they recommend what's in the best interest of the customer, which is extremely rare in a world where businesses prioritize increasing revenues!!! That's why I highly recommend Pinecrest Shell.”

“I always come here for my VA state inspection and have had consistently good experiences. I arrived around 4:25 PM (they stop inspections at 5), and even with one car ahead of me, the wait was very reasonable...about 10 minutes. Once they got to my truck, the inspection only took around 15 minutes. They offer seating both inside and outside, which makes the wait more comfortable. Quick, efficient, and convenient service. I’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“It's not too far from our house and we live in Springfield and so if you pay by debit cash you can get the gasoline for your car I have slightly discounted rate. It was in a problem everyone would stand in line and take their time and you do it and knowing that it was a discounted gas station it was easy for people just to sort of manage how their time was there and everyone had to exit a certain way. And I always assume that everyone there was cooperative and you know no one stuck out saying I'm gonna go first or anything like that. So for the cheaper price paying cash it was a very convenient place for us to go it's like a 50 minute drive for me and my husband took from Springfield through Lorton through Lorton, over the water Occoquan river and then it's like two or three streets up on the laughter old bridge but you can actually enter the gas station before you get to the light. It was very convenient for us for a very long time when Gas was so expensive and they're very accommodating with their traffic it's a difficult location but they managed it pretty well they do manage it very well actually. The only one thing is that there's a place that they compete with in Burke Virginia in the shopping center on Lee Chapel or Burke Lake Road and Old Keene Mill Road at the intersection I don't know the name of it offhand it's right next to the McDonald's. But try not to pull in from the front and try to take that turn right at the lake and then come in from the side where the wash machine is for the cars to go through. Especially if your tank is on the driver side. Just makes things more convenient and I found that the handicap lines the ones that are closest to the actual building of the gas station those lines seem to move faster. These are our experiences that each should be stationed and hopefully when gasoline becomes cheaper again we might be able to go back to Old Bridge gas station on the corner because it's much more convenient than going to the one off Lee Chapel and Old Keene Mill Road in the Safeway shopping center.
Everyone is always happy and cheerful and kind and it's so quick in and out sometimes there's a little bit of a weight but not huge for the lower cost of gasoline I think it's fine. gives you a good time to breathe and figure out where you need to be going next and give you time to set your map up in your car if you're so lucky to have one. But yeah I am totally committed to both of those gas stations and I have been for decades so especially the one near Safeway. The one near Safeway is a little bit of benefit because McDonald's is right out Next Door and it's so easy to pop in for a McFlurry after you pump your gas.
It's quite a joyful experience I have to say it's worth it because I fed my car and then I get to feed myself something sweet.
I hope you have the same experience they're really kind people you know and it's very rare that any pumps are out of order either the two places that I mentioned so but also specifically fast fuels I mean it just want a quick turnaround time they don't even have like the water to wipe your windows off with cause I just want you in and out cause I know the gasoline quality is good it's fine for cars even hiring cars we have and just want to make your experience smooth and easy and fast fast fast. And living in this area that is exactly the attitude because everything here is a go go go all the time right so I think that's probably why. It's kind of considerate I think.”

“Prompt, great service, fully recommend! My car started making braking sounds on a Friday and it got worse over the weekend. It was hard to find someone who would look at it. Monday morning, I called around and finally spoke to Bao who graciously told me to bring it in. Receptionist was prompt, took my information and Bao came over to ask about the car. He drove the car around and came inside to talk to me. Told me right away what he thought the problem is, but he needed to look under the car to make sure. “I visited this Exxon based on the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad that I did. I was having an engine issue with my truck and didn't want to take it to the dealer. Unfortunately, the technician at Exxon couldn't fix the problem, but they assessed the problem exactly. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable. Brent, the owner, even volunteered to explain the issue to the dealer so that I wouldn't get bamboozled. I definitely recommend this location for vehicle repairs.”

“5/15/24 2 PM Wednesday LOCATION: Located on the corner of Clipper Drive and Old Bridge Road. It is connected to Coastal Wholesale Gas & Food. PURPOSE OF VISIT: Truck was shipped into state and before registering it with the DMV we had to get an emissions and inspection check. You need to pass both in the state of VA. TERMINOLOGY: (For those who have different guidelines in different states) EMISSIONS- involves testing gas emissions for the purpose of reducing air pollution. INSPECTIONS: Ensures that your vehicle meets safety and mechanical standards by law. We were a walk in, Mike took us right away. The truck passed emission test, failed inspection. BAD BRAKES. The hubster was in agreement with that so we left the car for him to fix. Mike also gave us options as far as taking it elsewhere or doing it ourselves . This made me feel like he just wasn't there to take our money. Location is convenient for us and it is one of the cheapest gas fills ( if paying by CASH) in the area right now.”
