“Temporarily closed, due to a horrible and untimely fire that destroyed the building, Tucker's, though out of commission for now, has finally begun the rebuild. Hopefully, they will be back up and running within the next 6 months. The fire was several months ago. The community was devastated for the business and empathetic for the owners, since we lost a convenient location for many of our necessities. Stay hopeful for the soon return of a beloved country store, that's been occupied for over half a century.”

“Didn't eat anything here, just curious, stopped in talked with the charming young lady. My mother bought 2 old serving plates. Neat little place. If I get back though here I'll make sure I stop by for lunch.”

“It is very convenient for me to get a state inspection here. Everyone that I have dealt with here have gotten my vehicle in promptly and were very professional. Great business for automotive repair and inspections.”

“This B&B is the 2nd store added to our area, the first store has become well known for the awesome & affordable food, the lunch specials, & the homemade deserts. I was interested to see how this location would compare & it did not disappoint! It had all the perks of the first store with the added bonus a very nice interior & great customer service. I absolutely love that the owner took a favorite local land mark here “the old candy factory” & turned it into a family friendly store. This store definitely gives me the feel of those old timey country store I would visit with my dad when I was younger & everyone knew your name when you walked in the door. If you have a chance to visit you have to try the lunch specials or one of there deserts you will not be disappointed!!!!!”

“I didn't go into the store as I paid for gas with a debit card so I can't comment on the interior store. All I know is that the gas pump worked and it took my credit card with no problem. I'm a happy camper!”

“This mart is in a great location, especially since the next place to get gas is at least 5 miles in either direction. They also have propane tanks. The staff is friendly and multicultural. There's an ATM and a select variety of beverages and snack items. There is a grill also, even has a counter to dine on. There is a restroom and it was clean. They have lottery and gaming machines for entertainment. They also have a picnic table outside in a cozy, shaded location. There are social distancing protocols on the door, but I do not feel like they are enforced, the average of customers wearing masks was consistent, though, not everyone feels that they must abide. This spot is super handy, if they stay open, so far, so good!”

“Now solely a tobacco and vape shop, the newly renovated Joy has been around for years, lots of choices in Kratom, tobacco pipes and accessories and incense. Get some gas and something cold to drink, plus a few snacks, even play your winning lottery numbers or scratch a few...and enjoy the pleasant staff at an old hometown favorite.”

“Probably the nicest bunch of complete strangers that I've ever encountered. Southern hospitality isn't dead - it resides at Kelley's. I was traveling home from NJ with my 3 daughters (girl's trip!) when my 2 year old started screaming "I WANT OUT!" which was immediately followed by my 6 year old proclaiming that the baby had "pooped and it stinks bad." So here I am scanning the places to stop when I see Kelley's and think "looks clean enough." We came through the door with the force of an overtired wildebeest and must have looked noticeably confused when the voice of an angel said "Are you looking for the bathroomh? It's right over here." And she smiled. Man, what a difference from the shopkeepers in Jersey who cut their eyes at you and begin to assemble the assault rifle under the register all because you reached a little too quickly for that pack of spearmint Extra. The ladies room was surprisingly chic, charming and CLEAN! It is a masterpiece that I will think about while I hang up the old shredded towels on my racks that are hanging out of the wall from when a previous version of my 10 year old son declared himself a monkey. I am a purveyor of supporting mom and pop establishments so when I saw the lunch counter I was overjoyed. The fare is standard American (hot dogs, burgers, egg salad, etc.) and the prices are nostalgically low. The lady behind the counter was super sweet and accommodating and helped me with seating my girls who were acting very silly after the long car ride. She served our food which was delicious (I recommend the sausage dog. Tasty and HUGE!). When it was time to go the lunch counter lady (God, I wish I had gotten her name) helped me out to the car with our drinks. My kids took to her immediately. While I strapped in my youngest she strapped in my toddler. Talk about service! It's these little things that make you remember a place and want to return. Kelley's is a diamond in the rough and has impressed me very much. It has earned a permanent spot on my GPS and will be patronized whenever I head up north. I only wish it were closer so I could give them more business. My husband thinks I've lost it because I walked in the door talking about how I enjoyed my visit with the people of Kelley's. They actually lightened my load if only for a hour and improved this tired mom's day.”

“The bro and I went to the 76 gas station about 4 months ago and the attendant was very helpful. She kept saying that the 76 was and she said if we didn’t think it did, then we just didn’t. We also discovered the vood there and it quickly became our favorite Steve. God bless the 76!”

“Had wonderful customer service with a nice little lady, can’t recall her name but she went out of her way to help us and make our visit great! She should be recognized for this!! Wish I knew her name, she was very petite, long braided hair, too cute of a outfit!!! Lol, great attitude and oh so helpful!!”

“Exxon is always a safe and clean place for a quick stop. Typical convenience store, with the additional benefit of almost always being clean. A little pricey, but well worth the cost for the sense of security with the added benefit of knowing the fuel is also top notch.”

“They have the best chicken. I called my order ahead of time and they planned it so it would be super hot when I got there. And they have the best prices for gas.EDITED: This review was for Reds chicken. Since this review they have switched their chicken product to something other than Reds. It's not like Reds.”

“I pass by here monthly. I have family in the area. The stores at this location save schlepping farther to the grocery store or Walmart. This little mart is the first bit of socialization besides the post office. The gas prices are usually the best in the lake area. The employees are friendly. The prices aren't always cheaper than the grocery store but it is 10 miles closer than anything else.”

“Not happy that this site says 24 hour operation, but when I got to the store a few minutes ago, it was closed. Sign on door says 6am-9pm. Bummer, considering the amount of time I had to spare this morning. Ended up empty handed. Great store, but hours need to be clear.”
